It looks like tiny Volvo Edward is braking in this picture!

I hope you don't mind, but I went to Toys R Us yesterday and bought myself a tiny Volvo Edward to take with me to see How To Be in Chicago on Wednesday.

i'm thrilled you have your own tiny volvo edward, everyone should have one.

a word of warning, he doesn't stay on the dash very easily, i had to be on a very flat road and quick with the camera, tiny volvo edward wants to be on the move and rolls away. i kept him on the little ledge behind my steering wheel when i was being a more responsible, non-picture taking driver.

i think i am going to take him in the car with me more often, a sort of st. christopher.

i had to work the day how to be screened here at the burbank film fest. little ashes is playing at the laemmle and i'll get to see that next month.

DSis came for a visit over the weekend and we watched the DVD again (for the 7th or 8th time but who's counting), and I spotted Victoria at the prom. Maybe I am just unobservant, but I've never noticed her before. It made the ending sequence even more creepy, knowing how close she got to Bella.

I never noticed her before either until my brother's fiancee pointed her out. It's subtle, but you're right, really increases the danger factor.

Yes, I noticed that too, very creepy. It was weird they did that though! Edward should have known she was there by how very well they can smell around them, but that was in the books that they could smell so well so maybe the movies will leave that out.

I liked the movie but I LOVE the books!!

I thought that too. Between Alice and Edward, they would have known she was there. I didn't like that they added this to the movie. Anyone who has read the books is going to go to all the movies, they didn't need to leave a cliffhanger for me.

I noticed that the very first time I watched the movie!

My friend who I just recently got into Twilight was watching the movie with me the other night at work and he said "Dude, wouldn't Edward have been able to pick up her scent there?? What were the producers and director thinking?!" Totally cracked me up.

I agree! I did not need a cliff hanger either, but for those that have not read the book, I guess might need that to know she will be in the next one and won't be giving up. I read the book after I watched the movie, but even before I read the books I kind of found it weird she was there because of Edwards mind reading and Alice's visions. Why no one knew she was there? i don't know!

I am glad I read the book after though because I liked the movie but I think if I read the books first I would have been disappointed with the movie just because of the fact they switched some things and left some of my favorite stuff out that was in the book. All in all the movie was good. It also helped because I could visualize the characters better.

I am very interested to see the upcoming movie New Moon! I have read all the books (twice now) so I will be able to know while I am watching the movie what they have changed and added so that will be interesting!

Exactly! He knew when they were driving up earlier in the movie so he should have known at the end too! I don't know. Just some of the things were a little off with in the movie. Some of the reasons why I LOVE the book was missing for me in the movie but I still really liked the movie!!

Are the WA fanfics really worth reading? I just finished the third True Blood and am on about chapter three of the fourth one. Does anyone else like Sam and Eric better than Bill?? I still have to read the next several, and then the last book in the Great and Terrible Beauty series. I don't have time for more vamp porn

Perhaps Edward couldn't smell Jacob because Jacob is still just a human at that point?

Not being able to detect Victoria is harder to explain. At this point, Victoria doesn't know about Edward's and Alice's gifts, right? So it's not as if Victoria knows she should control her thoughts near Edward.
