My DS's both one, so instead my mom bought them each a red soft women's bath robe. It made me sad when my DS11 put on his XL adult women's robe and the length of the robe and the length of the arms was just right. Although it was way too big around.

I love the Lego games! DH has Batman and the Indiana Jones one, and they're just so darn cute.

I love the Batman one so far. It is a blast. I think I'm going to pick up the Indiana Jones one for DBF for Valentine's Day.

Seriously.... does anyone watch "Rock of Love Charm School" or any of the other shows that these, ummmmm, girls with, ummm, issues are on? They are like car accidents to me... cant look away, but I am so appalled I even give it a second look.

OMG I'm addicted to anything and everything Rock of Love. It is so trashy, but hilarious.

Did you watch the Rock of Love Bus last night? OMG!!! (I can't use OME when referring to any show with those girls on - it is too sacred. ) Some of those girls are just plain crazy!!!

I did! The girls this season are repulsive though. None of them are really very attractive and they all seem to be crazier then ever

Nope, I think it's great! I don't think "cooking" is the only benefit our DH"s have gotten out of us reading Twilight!

I just wanted to add another positive review of The Host. I'm about halfway through, and am REALLY enjoying it. The story is really unlike anything else I've ever read before, but in a good way.

I was worried for a while that I wouldn't be able to enjoy a book that wasn't part of the Twilight series. I've read each of the books four times each since September, and read maybe two non-Twilight books in between. Granted, The Host is still Stephenie Meyer, but I managed to read the first of the Sookie Stackhouse books and the newest Nicholas Sparks book as well.

I don't know what I'd do if I suddenly couldn't get into any new books...

Yup, I've been actually reading alot more since I started reading Twilight. my DMIL is so happy! I was so impressed with The Host. You have to remember that this woman is not an author! I mean she is, obviously, but she is not trained for that and here these wonderful ideas keep falling out of her head.

I thought the host came together so well.. it had such depth and I really liked it.

So I was in Atlantic City this weekend and saw a slot called Wolf Pack (or something like that). I turned to DBF and said I was feeling a little Jacob Black. Of corse I lost the $10 I put in it very quickly. As we walked away I told him that I should try to find a vampire slot since Jacob always let Bella down. Only a few eye rolls from him, but he tolerated me.

I have Star Wars Legos, and proudly beat it.

I just got a Wii for xmas and that game is on my list!

I just sent a FB request to join the BB Gang... I have been on there for like a year, but I hardly ever use it or check it. Just one of those things. I check and post on MySpace more often, but even that is pretty rare.

OME, you guys are chatty today! I have hardly been able to catch up during the few hours I was at school!

I read The Host. It was... ok, pretty good. Like others, I found it a little hard to get into at first, then I enjoyed it. But still didn't find it as addictive as Twilight.

TravelMel, I LOVED your pictures! Did you say that cabin was a rental? Where is it? Coos Bay is not normally my idea of a beautiful place, but that's the town, I suppose, rather than the wilderness outside it.

The area around the town of Forks is very similar to those pics. We wandered around some hiking trails near Lake Quinault that looked just like that. Beautiful! While we visited Forks, we did not make the trip to La Push and First Beach. Maybe next summer, because I'm sure DD14 will want to do that day trip when we take our annual trip to Ocean Shores in July!

Thank you! The place was not a rental. It's a "community" type place (like a grange) for just that area. It was really nice! You're right, it's not in Coos Bay proper (though the entire coast does have areas that are that beautiful here and there.) It's inland a bit south of Coquille, OR.

I loved your Forks TR.. maybe you should re-post it since there are so many newbies?????

I just spent half an hour catching up, and boy was it worth it... Lucky I wasn't drinking anything because surly it would have come out my nose. You guys are too much.

I just finished Wuthering Heights. Bella inspired me to read it again - I hadn't read it since high school? I've alway been a Jane Austen fan too and plan to get into some of her novels again as well, but I think I'll take a break and inject some Sookie in there to stir things up.

I've been wanting to read that ever since I saw it in Twilight. Of course... there's also Pat Benetar's song that I associate with it, too.

But, this is so embarrassing... I don't know if I"m smart enough. Is it a "hard" book? I hate books that are too hard for me. SAD, I know! But I tried to ready Ayn Rand like 10 times and I JUST DID NOT GET IT. I was in highschool but STILL... it was too hard!

I need help with blue bananas - I can't access photobucket at work. I'm thinking I should just get internet at home. I'll have to wait for a good deal. I used to have a myspace page but myspace was blocked at work. No doubt Facebook is too... yet another reason to get internet at home. I just HAVE to be a part of BBG.

An OMG moment from DH at dinner. He's reading Twilight and out of the blue asks if Edward and Bella ever "do it" and if Jasper has to stand outside of the room to keep things calm. Perv. Only a man would think of something like this, because this was never a possible scenario that my friends and I came up with while reading.

There are pics of him playing around on the Pinocchio Ride.. it's so funny! She's very cool.. her screen name is SherryE and you can find her TR over there with those pics if you're interested.

The other method to get your blue banana:

Right click on it in somebody else's signature. Click on "properties". Highlight and copy the url.

Then go to the user CP where you edit your signature. Position your curser where you want the banana (just DON'T even touch that one, okay, girls? I'm NOT trying to double-entendre! ) Then click on the little icon above that shows the mountain with the sun "insert image". A dialogue box comes up with "http:\\" and you're supposed to paste the url you copied there. But the url you copied already has the http stuff on it, so first, backspace that out, so you don't have a double "http\\" in there. Then preview it to see if it worked.

i'm almost done with sense and sensibility i was inspired by twilight/bella to read it. it is my favorite movie and i thought, why not? it is definitely not an easy read, but i am truly enjoying it.

So, I am a new fan of Twilight. I asked for the books for Christmas, and have been addicted since I read the first chapter, and it gets worse the further I get in. I'm not even done with the first book, and I love it.

I've been directed to the thread by a friend (Hi Arelys!!!) after asking her what she meant by she "only likes blue bananas" lol. Interesting mascot!

While reading, Edward and Bella's relationship at different parts reminds me a very small bit of the relationship between my boyfriend and I. So I think that makes it more addicting lol. To see how much more the relationship could be similar.

So...um...I guess that's my intro. Hope to talk to you guys again soon, I've got to use will power to not read tonight so I can make it to a 8am class tomorrow....so hard!!
