good luck...I LOVE the Sookie series...I read the entire series all in a week(yup all 8 books )...and now am not so patiently waiting for the new book to come out this year

You may have convinced me to start reading them. Got them for Christmas, but I feel like I'm cheating on the Cullens or something!! I read in Entertainment Weekly that this series is like "an NC-17 rated Twilight." So may be worth a little cheating!

I'm a little worried how I'll like the series since I'm so into the Twilight books and have been re-reading them. A lot. But I'm interested to have some new vampire fiction to read.

Great sadness is upon me. I have been asked to send the first two books in the series to a (skeptical) friend in Michigan to borrow. OME I will miss them! Here's hoping that at least a newborn will be created....

And every day, when I have a totally Twilight related thought, I think of all of you.

I just ordered the first one from Barnes and Noble with a gift card from my DH for Christmas. I'm really excited to have some more vampires in my future.

I went to the library upon opening today to make sure I could get the First Sookie Book which was "Non-holdable"

So I'm in!!!!!

Went to pick up my DD at her friends house and the neighbors curtains were black and had large head shots of hot guys all over them, each in their own little square, and there was a HUGE family crest on the other half

I was like.... "Is that Jacob Black????"

DH: "Umm.... nope, it's Manchester United."

ME: Hmph. Oopssie I guess not everybody would put Edward and the gang up in their front window. Who knew?

Turns out if you like sports then it's cool to put guys up as curtains.. maybe if we just use the Cullen baseball scene we'd be ok???

Was also watchin' some TiVo and made DH rewind for a split second of Edward... he does it but he glowers at me everytime.

New to this thread but a HUGE Twilight fan!

I had a TWI FUnny today.

I am not a very good cook. This evening I cut my finger with a knife...again. Like I said I am not a good cook or work well in the kitchen.

My 13 year old looked at me and siad "Mom you're the BELLA SWAN of the Kitchen" LOL

U just HAD to ask. Truth be told I am still in the first 40 pages or so and did not pick it up during my vacation these holidays. And to add insult to injury, the book is now overdue at the library. Gulp.

I need to return the book..pay my fine...and pick it up later. I think I still need more vampire time for now.
