I think Rob and Kristen are completely adorable together, but if they did date and later they broke up, how awkward would it be to have to still pretend to be in love and have that chemistry? What if they didn't have the same chemistry, because they broke up? That could get very messy.

Summit Entertainment has started preparing the sequel New Moon, based on Stephenie Meyer's second book in the series, and to contain costs, the studio is filming the third book, Eclipse, back to back using the same new director. On Sunday, December 7th, Summit Entertainment confirmed that Catherine Hardwicke will not direct the films New Moon or Eclipse. Filming begins on New Moon in March, 2009, and will continue right through completion of Eclipse. Auditions and any open casting calls for New Moon and Eclipse will be posted here.

i think i'm okay with chris weitz as director for new moon and eclipse. about a boy is one of my favorite movies and he seems to work with teens quite often: the american pie series and the recent nick and norah's infinite playlist.

i have never read or seen the golden compass, so i don't know about his abilities with an adaptation, but i recall the trailer and the special effects looked great.

i hope they really have a good script though, i really want the franchise to be as great as it can be. there is a lot to make up for in regards to explanations in the next film.

Perfect! They would be absolutely crazy to turn you down. How could they resist?! Maybe you could play a vampire or werewolf who is strictly after Edward only? I'm pretty sure everyone in this thread would be great at "acting" that out

OK, so as I said before, I finished the draft of Midnight Sun. Here's a question for those that have read it . . .

Edward says that Tanya and her sisters do the deed with human men, enjoy it, and don't kill them . But in Breaking Dawn (and probably in Eclipse, can't remember right now, not that important) Edward is terrified of "going all the way" (thanks Perry Ferrell) because he doesn't know of any vamps that have gotten that close to humans where the humans survived.

When did Stephenie start writing the draft for MS? Was it before she finished the series or after?

Wow! Hmm, just thinking here... maybe the first time Edward sneaks in her window, and hears her say his name in her sleep? Or, maybe the Cullen family meeting where Rosalie offers to "take care of the problem" and Edward is debating leaving town.

He knows about the legends, like the Ticuna one where the human women who survive, are impregnated and can't survive the fetus. Even Bella read about those on her first computer search about vampires. I guess he just doesn't trust himself, personally, to not lose control in the act. Especially since she's his brand of heroin (la tua cantante).

I got the impression that SM wrote it while she was in the process of editiong The Host and BD.

Yeah, "The Host" is being sent to my local library for pick up in a few days. for those of you who have read it, does it have some of that "Twilight" flavor? I know it was written by Meyer...so I am just wondering if there are similarities etc..etc.. I am looking forward to cracking that book open.

Also will I constantly see the words "glowered" and "chagrin" again. I find myself using those words way more now.
