Too funny... I saw DVCsince02 was August 16th, you're August 18th, and SSB is August 17th... must have been the time of moon for Twilight fans to be born each year.

That's awesome. And don't forget U2 fans....

At least he tried right? :goodvibes My friend's DH doesn't like to read but he tolerates her OCD well. He's seen the movie with her. The other night they were at my friend's upstairs apt. He had to go the car to get something and muttered that he would be so much fast if he was Edward! :rotfl: What a guy!

OME! I tuned in and saw that episode just to catch a glimpse of Emmet. OME - I must have looked like this - with some drool on my chin.

So plans are coming together for a trip up the coast. Here's what I have so far. Please let me know if I left anything important out.

Sounds like a great trip!! Just take lots of pics to share with us.

Well I have loved Mr. Depp since he was in A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET . It is very disturbing to see his death in that movie but boy was he a hottie . I think he is one of the few that gets a little better with age .

I have a fun little story. The house they filmed (which was his house in that film) is my friend's house. Rather her grandmother, but I spend my childhood in that house!! It is in Hollywood and I remember back when they were filming that movie. I got to walk around the "set" and even remember meeting Depp. He wasn't famous at all at the time, but I thought it was so cool looking at a movie set. I was a young girl at the time, so was a little too young for Depp. hehe.

yeah get your boots on!! Single may be heard next week..so as the rumors go. U2 years (new album and tour) are always better!! Add a new twilight film to the mix, and EVEN better (than the real thing...)!!!

Thanks! We're not going til July but I will definitely share when we get back. How much trouble do you think we'll get in if we try to find the baseball field?

:cloud9: Lucky you!

I wish... I was 9 when they were filming! Oh and the Freddy Crueger house is across the street..just a few house down. The one with the green roof. When I lived in LA, it was fun to take friends around and show them the houses! I also would swing them out the Valley and show them the Brady Bunch house. Well, the one used in the opening shots...the rest was a sound stage.

So I know what it feel like say when Mel shows us the Twilight buildings etc.. (how's that for bringing it back to the topic?!) :rotfl:

Awesome! I've really dropped the ball on finishing my TR... I wanted to ask you if you had factored in the restaraunt where Bella and her dad ate (in the movie).. it's the actual name of the restraunt and it's somewhere in the "area" of the Viewpoint Inn. If you need more details I can get them. Also, in St Helens is the bookstore that Bella goes to to research vamps... but I didn't go there on my TR and am not exactly sure where it is. It shouldn't be too hard to find.. the town is very small. Also, the theater on the main street in St Helen's is visible in the film. I would recommend buying the complete Illustrated guide to Twilight.. it helps alot with the "background" or locations.

:goodvibes

RE: The baseball field - dunno? :confused3

Oh yea, one more thing.. I heard about the area on the Washington state side of the Columbia river where they sit and talk alot.. but I can't remember.. it's some sort of "____ Loop" name. I have wanted to hit that up, top but haven't gotten around to it!

Oh yea! ONe more place I wanted to go but haven't. Vernonia (small town).. it's where the police station is -where Edward drops off Bella after the dinner at the Bloated Frog (which, BTW, is on the main street in St. Helens.. at the end of the street..it dead ends) and meets up with Charlie.

Hope that helps!

EDIT: Did you read the Twilight TR's on the twilightmoms.com?? There's one girl in particular who has an AWESOME TR from Forks. Just loved it :cloud9:

That is so cool! I would have been totally kreeped (yes, I meant K) out by Kruegers house!!!!! EWWWWWWWWW Seriously, that would have made me uncomfortable. That movie was pivitol in scaring the living ****ey buckets out of me. :scared1:

Yikes.

Freddy Kruegar scared the poop out of me when i was younger :scared1:

Oh and speaking of Cullen's ..my ex (way back in high school and a few years after) his last name was Cullen..:cool2:

Freddy is scary! So is Jason, Leatherface, that creepy clown thing from Saw...:rotfl:

OMG! This is the best quote ever, U2, Twilight it is all too perfect! This is the perfect board for me, my 2 favorite things, (besides my kids), but I would get a sitter to see U2 or Edward!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I used to joke when my kids started school, that they didn't know ONE Nursery Rhyme but they knew the words to every U2 song!! :lmao:

i used to joke about the exact same thing, but change it to cure, depeche mode and tori amos songs.

Looks like we are the same age then. Well depending on when your b-day is. I just turned 33 (but when DH is around I won't admit being 33 until his b-day March 12th, when he turns 33.)

november 24 - 31 years old.

i have a question for those who picked up the matchbox volvo. is the one you purchased silver? my first target didn't have any volvo's and the second only had black ones. i don't really have any twilight paraphernalia, just a calendar and a sticker, but this i really want.

oh and no twilight valentine cards yet, but twilight candy hearts are coming...

NECCO unveils ‘Menu of Love’

New England Confectionery Co.’s Sweethearts Conversation Hearts are going from “I Love You” and “Marry Me” to “Bite Me.”

The Revere candy company wants to make the 143-year-old line more relevant to teens and tweens with a tie-in to the popular “Twilight” film based on the best-selling vampire romance novels.

NECCO will release softer, sparkling versions of the pastel sugar hearts in March, when the film is released on DVD. The printed messages will include “Bite Me,” “Secret” and “Soul Mate,” and flavors such as “orange obsession” and “tempting apple.” More Sweethearts will hit stores for the November release of the “New Moon” sequel.

Sweethearts are billed as the best-selling Valentine’s candy, with more than 8 billion produced annually in Revere. NECCO yesterday unveiled its 10 new Valentine’s Day messages, which have a “Menu of Love” theme.
And the 70-year-old Sky Bar will jump on the “Twilight” bandwagon with custom-molded shapes tied to the characters’ crests.

“We have a great opportunity in this business,” Krause said. “We have some really iconic brands. We’ve done a lot of research, and our consumers want us to take these brands into new directions.”

No comments from the twi-nut gallery on that one, either! :rotfl:

Ha! No seriously, that's cool... I wish I had the calender and now they're going for $50 on ebay.
