I'm reading the Host now and loving it. Like Twilight I can't believe I dragged my feet so long before reading it. I admit I read ahead. It's not that I don't like the pacing, but I was dying to know what happened.

Did anybody notice that Stephenie has certain words that she seems to like that are somewhat unusual. I noticed "vital" and "ugh" a lot.

She does that a lot. Like with 'chagrin'.

A blood canticle???? wha???? That sounds just plain wrong. nodoby in the chronicles?? that whole sentance is confusing to me. LOL

The books I was talking about: Bloodfever and Darkfever are about a girl who goes to Ireland to avenge her sister's murder and finds out she has "powers" or sorts. The "villians" are faeries... but not good ones. IT's really good!

And I'm still a big fan of "A Great and Terrible Beauty" as it was scary (hair-on-your-arm-raising, araid of the dark scary NOT rapist, dimented- psychopathic real-life-bad-guy killing you with lots of squirting blood scary).

Like I'm sure many others have said. I don't see anything wrong with your badge. I'm sure anyone that has a down pillow or a down comforter has woken with a few of the little feathers on them. It's not your fault if someone that has read the books lets their mind go to a dirty place that you did not mean for it to go.

You know, I didn't really think he was THAT Hot in the movie, but if they would have left his hair DARK....

I agree, I know that he has blonde hair in the book, but he is much hotter with the dark hair. The blonde hair in the movie just looked like a really bad wig that I wanted to snatch off his head and burn.

ah sorry...i saw your post and didnt realize that the tarzancat or whatever their name is was the one who posted about blood canticle...I never read blackwood farms series but I guess I should have because I read the witches of mayfair series...I read a summary of blood canticle and it basically puts one of the main characters in witches of mayfair series and Lestat together so I think I may need to get back to that before I read blood canticle ...the bloodfever and darkfever sounds really good and dont forget the 3rd book in the mortal instrument series comes out in march

I love my immortal...I used to listen to it over and over and cry my eyeballs out...it hit a little too close to home and we all know that when Edward left Bella we all felt that pain!!! and YES that would be a great song for this movie
