OME this is so cute I have to share... DD8 is upstairs in the tub, I'm downstairs on my laptop. She yells "Mom, come here quick!" I run up the stairs and she's got her Fashion Pollys on the side of tub. She says "look, I have the Cullens here"

ah sorry...i saw your post and didnt realize that the tarzancat or whatever their name is was the one who posted about blood canticle...I never read blackwood farms series but I guess I should have because I read the witches of mayfair series...I read a summary of blood canticle and it basically puts one of the main characters in witches of mayfair series and Lestat together so I think I may need to get back to that before I read blood canticle ...the bloodfever and darkfever sounds really good and dont forget the 3rd book in the mortal instrument series comes out in march

Hey there. I see you sort of answered your own questions, but let me clarify for you. If you've read part of the Vampire Chronicles, Blood Canticle is the last in that series. And yes, it does tie together the Mayfair Witches with the vampires. I like to go in order with her things, but there are certain chronicles that don't have Lestat in them at all. I could check my collection to see which ones. Off the top of my head, the ones that most pertain to him are Interview with a Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, The Queen of the Damned, The Tale of the Body Thief, Memnoch the Devil, (Merrick, Blackwood Farm), and then Blood Canticle. But there are some in between there, in publication date, about different vampires. I put in Merrick and Blackwood Farm because I think he's in those, but not the main narrator. Anyway, my long convoluted answer is I really enjoyed the way she tied the two series together and gave it a finality. Very, very good read.

And now here you guys are chit chattin bout it. ANyway, I had meant to look it up to see what the fuss was so I just found the video you guys were talking about.

I hadn't heard of Homestarrrunner in years-my kids and DH used to love that website! I didn't even know that there was a game and I missed the connection with the avatar. I might have to check that out again!
Thanks for all the book recommendations-I better add them to my list! I"m reading The Duchess now which is the biography that the Kiera Knightly movie was based on. It's pretty good so far but I might have to re-read the Twilight series again soon-I'm going through withdrawal.
I'm missing some of my books from it though but I've got two converts now!!!

We love the Homestar Runner gang (thanks once again to my Twilight maker Kysstn)!! I'm even more fond of Teen Girl Squad!
The fiance has t-shirts, figurines, CD's...we even carved a Strong Bad & Homestar Runner pumpkin a few years back.
Techno (aka Light switch rave) & Lures & Jigs are my all time favorite Strong Bad emails! Get in the boat, fish, fish!!! Love it!!!
