EWW did you hear who is going to play Edward in the twilight movie, if you didnt it is Robert Pattinson, he played cedric in the harry potter movie, in my opinion and all of my friends' he is horrilbe for edward and looks like he has a mental disorder

well, that's up to the casting people. Frankly, I think he is perfect even though no one really thought of him before. And exactly that--just because you never thought of him before does not make him horrible for the job. Also, it is impossible to have a human mimic well the beauty and perfection of a vampire.

I'm not a big Twilight fan.
I think it's overrated.
But I think that guy would make a great Edward.

So far I've only read Twilight, but I'm going to start New Moon soon, and I've already established in my mind who I picture Bella and Edward to be. I picture Nicholas D'Agosto (West from Heroes) as Edward, and Emily Browning (Violet from The Series of Unfortunate Events) as Bella.

I think I only picture Emily as Bella because I read that they were thinking of casting her as Bella before they cast Kirsten Stewart.

Well, off I go to read New Moon.

EDIT: Oh, and I think that Robert Patinson is a good Edward. My friends and I think he's gorgeous. My friend Laura has a picture of him taped up in her locker.

I think for the most part pictures i've seen of him fit the role.
If you're all referring to the one on Stephenie Meyer's website, he's going to be more.. 'edward-ified' during makeup and wardrobe, so I'm sure you won't be as displeased with the final result.
I'm actually really excited about this movie!

I kinda imagined him with high cheek bones like that.
He's good, since Henry Cavill, or whatever his name is couldn't do it.
I think this was a good choice.
We'll just have to wait and see

When I first saw it, I was like 'um, ew, one of his eyes is smaller than the other and no.' Buuttt after thinking about it, he's starting to grow on me. I think he'll do okay.

Oh, and I read he does a pretty flawless american accent, so I don't think that will be a problem.
