So sad to see that people are stooping to hacking other sites like that. Even if it is an adult- they sure are acting childish...

I was also saddened to read that Stephenie Meyers was hurt by some of the comments made by some- like "don't burn BD- return it" - You know- no one is going to like every book- or everything about every book- but there is a way to post criticism and a way not too.

The people doing the cruel and hatefull things- seriously need some help- if they are this upset over a book- makes you wonder how real the story line got for some out there- that it upset them this much.

I do recall some pretty harsh things going back and forth in the Harry Potter Fandom during the extended wait for book 5- but I still didn't think it was like this... And yes I was way more involved in that fandom than the Twilight fandom- just makes you want to shrug.

It really is sad to see people react this way. I know many fans that were unhappy with Breaking Dawn but are still Stephenie fans and would never do anything like that. I am one of those who love the Twilight series but I truely do not care for Breaking Dawn. It just felt foreign and like a different book to me. That said I stated how I felt and moved on. And I am happy that others enjoyed the book. I wish I would have enjoyed it but being an avid reader I know that not everything an author writes is going to be a good read for me. I still love the first three in the series and The Host and I plan to read other books that Steph will write. It is really sad to see others take such extreme measures.

I hope that the Lex gets back up soon.

Does anyone know where I can buy an Italian charm for Twilight for my DD for Christmas? I only found one on ebay and they don't show the finished product. I'd like to see what the final product looks like before I buy, or at least know that the business selling it is reputable.

I haven't seen any except on Ebay right now but keep looking with the movie coming out in Dec there will surely be lots of Twilight items out closer to Dec.

The way I tag spoilers is surround them in color tags [ COLOR=#F5F5FF]blah[/ COLOR] (delete the spaces before "COLOR" -- I had to put them in or the software would have interpreted what I typed as commands).

Frankly I think that websites that won't allow ANY negative posts is just silly. I had planned on joining TwilightMoms because I had hoped to find others my age who both liked the books but also had some serious issues with them (and the Host...blech). When I read the rules of the site I was immediately turned off by the "sunshine and unicorns" necessary to post.

Then again, I also have no desire to join a site that is nothing but bashing. As long as nothing rude or hostile is posted, i see no reason why you can't talk about what didn't like.

I am very "sunshine and unicorns" When it comes to these books. I have been very pleased with what Ms. Meyers has chosen to write. I was reading a blog and the woman went on and on about what she did not like. If I didn't like a book that much, I would pick up a different one.

I skimmed the blog, saw the tone, and went on with my day.

It kind of reminded me of the Rachel Ray sucks type of site. I don't see a point to being that negative.

I guess I feel bad for Ms. Meyers. I can't imagine what it is like to have your fans turning on you. I happened to love Breaking Dawn. I even liked the ending.
