ooh that sounds fun...I already have it pre-ordered at Border's, but I might need to change it to B&N...if the release party for the last Harry Potter is any indication, I was so let down by the Borders party and wished I had done Barnes & Noble instead..I really wish I didn't like Borders more, but I guess I can handle Barnes & Noble for one night, if they are having a really neat party!!

see thats what im thinking as well...I have it preordered at Borders as well but I want to go to the book store that has the best party...so Im going to wait for a couple of weeks before release and then find out what each store is doing and go with the one that is throwin the best shin dig

I really love these books too. I am trying to reread the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice to get through the release of Breaking Dawn, but my mind keeps wandering back to Edward and Bella. How many more days?

I just finished Eclipse last night. OMG, it was so good. I think I'll die if Bella and Edward don't get married in Breaking Dawn!LOL I am not going to make it to Aug. 2nd! Thanks about the info on the release parties. I found out our local B&N is having the party. My DSIS and I will be there! She is so excited to now have someone to obsess with over Edward! We are going to make the "Team Edward" T-shirts and wear them that night. I have to say I have read a lot of books but never has one touched me so much. I just can't stop thinking about them. And Edward, well, enough said!

I'd say it's more for girls, but my DS11 is reading them and enjoying the stories. I don't know about teenage boys, yet.

My 16 and 13 year old (then 12) sons really enjoyed it. They read all 3, and the Host, and are looking forward to the new book in August. My 14 year old son just couldn't get into it. I tried to have him read it several times and he just kept telling me "It's too boring!" So I'd say it depends. My 16 year old will read anything, but the 13 year old isn't a big reader so him reading them all was a big deal. Overall though I'd say they're more geared to girls.

Hey, I thought it would be fun to try to guess or make a wish list for the songs that will be on the Twilight soundtrack.

My wish list would be:
1) Possession(the piano version) by Sarah Mclachlan
2) Any song by Linkin Park from the CD Edward and Bella both had in common.(I read that from twilightmoms interview with the author)
3) Here with me by Dido

YES! My son was 18 when he read them all...for his Girlfriend! He enjoyed them and is now finished with the Host.

omg I thought the waterworks were over...I had to stop reading...i was just bawling my head off...im almost finished with eclipse and have just finished the part where bella is up in her room crying after she had to tell jacob the bad news...dont want to say too much in the event some people havent read that far yet..but those of you who have know where Im talking about...everytime I start getting upset it just amazes me as to how Stephenie can really get into your heart like that and bring out such emotions from you...shes absolutely amazing...
