TWILIGHT vampire book!!!!!

I didn't read any of the posts on this thread, but because of it (this thread) I now have Twilight packed to take on vacation next week . I really don't care much for vampire type books and I am an adult, but I want to see what all the talk is about. If you want to comment on my reply, just PM me. I don't want to read anything that will give the book away!!

I'm not quite sure what to make of the new scene. Meaning, not sure how I feel about the adding of it. The acting seemed a bit off, but then again, try watching just about any behind-the-scenes type footage and for some reason, ALL acting seems like a huge put-on and a bit hacky watching it on the monitor.

I don't think the hospital meeting with Edward and Bella was all that monumental so perhaps the field trip substitution will be ok. Really it's the scene in the city shortly after that )when Bella wanders off from her friends) that is important, as is the subsequent interaction between her and Edward.

I am so happy! I just realized that my copy of Eclipse came with 2 iron on transfers! One says Team Edward, the other Team Jacob! Will I be a real dork if I make a Team Edward t-shirt?

Anyone know if there are going to be midnight release parties for the next book like Harry Potter?

I know that they did the hospital scene because I've seen the screen caps from it.

Apparently this is just an added scene where Bella is confronting Edward..yet again..trying to convince him to tell her what's up.

If I remember correctly..isn't there a good bit of time between the initial confrontation at the hospital..and the time he actually starts talking to her again.
I believe after the accident that her basically avoids her like the plague, right??

Then he starts eating lunch with her and they have the whole..what theory's have you come up with so far scene..maybe I'm not the Superhero..what if I'm the bad guy..part.

Maybe they just stuck this scene in there as filler?

I know Borders is definitely having a midnight release since they had little pages to fill out when pre-ordering your book about it...SO i got all set that day and am anxiously awaiting the party!!!
btw, I say make the shirt...I plan on making mine and wearing it to the party!!!

I believe Barnes & Noble are having "proms" a couple hours prior to the BD release (like the party starts at 10pm and then you can buy the book at midnight). I was just in B&N today and they mentioned something about ordering a "blood fountain" for the party. I'm assuming that refers to some sort of punch-like fountain? They had Stephenie Meyer displays all over the store. I still can't believe that these books are so huge and I only heard about them a little over a month ago!!! I guess you could call me exceptionally unobservant .

OMG OMG !!! Eclipse is soo good .... I am actaully tring to slow down my pace, I dont think I will be able to wait so long in between books. Breaking Dawn actaully comes out when we will be camping, hmmmm there is a Walmart 5 minutes up the road.

ooh that sounds fun...I already have it pre-ordered at Border's, but I might need to change it to B&N...if the release party for the last Harry Potter is any indication, I was so let down by the Borders party and wished I had done Barnes & Noble instead..I really wish I didn't like Borders more, but I guess I can handle Barnes & Noble for one night, if they are having a really neat party!!
