Does anyone know what is "special" about the special edition coming out at the end of the month?

I loved that trailer and I can't wait for this movie.... I just started Eclipse and I'm going really slow- it's hard but I want it to last. I haven't enjoyed reading this much in a long time... Since Harry Potter..... I think I like these better.

Anyone else an Angel/Buffy fan? My dd told me since I loved Angel so much- I had to read these books- I had never heard of them!

Sign me up for the 12 steps you know you have a problem when you watch the trailer every hour on the hour at least 20 times till it is the next hour and REPEAT

I am actually loving the Host i am on chapt 10 and can i say that i hate Sci-fi stuff (well Most of the stuff) i think it is pretty great, although i have my i-pod playing Nine inch Nails Year Zero Cd and the songs go right along with the book, So i am pretty excited.. i have a hard time with this one because i really have to concentrate (or read it when there are no kids) so i don't miss anything. so it is mostly a night time read and so i have to push myself to go to sleep ... at a reasonable hour (nothing past 2 a.m.)

New to this discussion but I took everyone's advice and bought Twilight. I could not put it down! I did think that there was a little too much of Bella going off about how beautiful Edward was but then the action picked up and I forgot about it. Since I finished it, I've been obsessively reading this thread and looking at all the links. I'm 40 and I'm not too proud to say that I love Edward, too-he is not too old for me, right? I was dying to have someone to talk to about it. One of my stepdaughters just came home from college with a stack of pleasure books to read-when I gave her the book, she grabbed it and was all excited because it was about vampires. I'm hoping that she reads it soon and loves it like I do. Glad that I have 2 more books to read to satisfy my "thirst" . I am going to try not to rush through them though-it's a long time until August! I loved the snippet of Midnight Sun that Stephenie posted on her website, too!

Wanted to thank all of you that recommened the Twilight series - loved, loved, loved. Picked up the first one last Wednesday afternoon, read it through the night, ordered #2 and #3 from B&N.com on Thursday, got them Tuesday, and finished #3 early this morning!

Really good reads - have to pick up The Host because I think it sounds like an interesting concept. Only have to wait 70 some odd days to get Breaking Dawn, I'll definately be re-reading the series soon.

Oh I am so joining this thread. I picked up the first book at a used book store on a whim. OMG...I am hooked. I pre-ordered the second book in paperback but it won't be delivered until next month. I don't know if I can wait that long. I loved all the sexual tension between Bella and Edward. I thought it was very well written. I could go on and on and on.

Oh and the movie...saw the teaser and I can't wait. It's really funny because as I was reading the book I could totally see Robert Pattison as Edward. Spot on casting there.

How are you liking it? My DD got it last week and hasn't handed it over. She is counting the days til she can read book 3! I'm not usually into anything from the fantasy genre but I must say that I have enjoyed all 3 books so far. The story gets better with each one!
