It's being thrown around on the Lex the possibility of Cam being cast as Carlisle.

I just don't see it though! This guy just seems to have that dark/brooding/dangerous vibe.

I've always pictured Carlisle as more reserved and cool. Just completely serene and in control.

Cam Gigadent Cast in Twilight..

The Hollywood Reporter printed an article stating the Cam has been cast in Twilight but no role was mentioned. (the info is at the bottom of the article) He is probably best known for his role in The OC.

OT....Last night I watched the show Moonlight. Has anyone seen this show? It's about a vampire who is falling for a human. He is a private investigator and the girl is a journalist. Anyway, he is a 'good' vampire who gets his blood from the blood bank. And most of the crimes he solves involve other vampires. He has super strength and a keen sense of smell. (sound familiar?) His ex-wife 'changed' him and she's involved in the show too. The guy is no Edward but he is very good looking and has a great voice. You can watch three full episodes at cbs.com if you're interested.

DD and I LOVE Moonlight!! We were just whining last night over the lack of new episode. We need our Friday night Vamp fix!!

Speaking of which..have you ever seen Blood Ties on Lifetime?? It also comes on Friday nights. Hasn't had a new episode in several weeks either.
The Vamp in it is Henry Fitzroy..the illegitimate son of Henry VIII, and he is one sexy vampire!!

I do watch Moonlight - I really miss Buffy and Angel since they are no longer on. At first I didn't care for Moonlight - I felt it was too much of a rip off of Angel ( the original good vamp with a soul ) but it has grown on me.

Also there is a new show coming on next month called New Amsterdam that is kind of the same thing. A detective that is immortal(but not a vamp) and will remain immortal until he finds his true love. Suppose to be good.

Anyway..We were trying to find pictures of what we thought the Cullen house looked like, and couldn't find any 3 story rectangle houses with wrap around porch..so she made one. I think she did a good job!

Uh, SURELY not Taylor Lautner for Jacob!! Say it isn't so. He looks like a little boy. Jacob is big even in the first book, and his size is an integral part of his character. This kid is 5' 6". Unless they can guarantee is he going to sprout up majorly in the next few years, it's gonna be ridiculous going into New Moon.

Not to mention, Kristin Stewart looks young but she looks over 18 to me already. Taylor looks 14 max.

It's going to be some kind of gross Amidala & Anakin vibe if they go that route.

Just say NO to Taylor!!!

Just started reading "Twilight" last night and I am on page 289---I can't put it down!! I am so glad their are others who love this book too!

I work in a school and a teenage girl (whom I have know since she was 5 )reads the same genre of books----(Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles and Kelley Armstrong's "Women of the Otherworld" series) as me had received this book from her foster mom quite awhile ago and thought it was "too childish" as she had only read the first chapter or two.

She gave the book to me and asked if I would like to read it and then tell her what it was about so she could tell her foster mom all about it like she had read it -----she didn't want to disappoint her!

I am definately telling her she must read this book......
Glad I found this post and so many others who like the book just as much

Definately tell her to read it!! You know I picked Twilight up once at a bookstore thinking I should read it and never did - thinking it was too teen. Then my SIL asked me to read it before letting her niece read it and I loved it!!
