Those are some great castings! Rosalie will need to blonde-up of course, but that Alice is perfect!

I'm sooooo happy with the great choices. I think we'll need to do a ticker once they announce the release of the movie!!!! Nerdy McNerdypants!

I am in love with carlilse he is a hottie! i loved him in gladiator , the scorpion king with the Rock and i know i have seen him lately in something Oh ! doctor..

MMMMMKKK..guess I'm gonna be the first to break ranks here and say that I just do not like the choice for Rosalie..AT ALL!

I'm really trying to keep an open mind here honestly. I hope she'll just blow me away as Rosalie..but as of now I just can't see it.

Everybody else seems pretty ok though..especially the choices for Alice and Carlisle.

Esme and Victoria I'm still pretty undecided on.

I wish them all luck! It's gonna be pretty hard to live up to the expectations of super crazy obsessive fans..like me!!

I thought she was pretty enough but I was uncertain why they would choose a brunette to play Rosalie as there is no shortage of tall, beautiful blondes in Hollywood. When I read her info on the IMDb site, I saw that when she was 13, she wrote and starred in "Thirteen" also directed/co-written by Twilight's director, Catherine Hardwicke. That explains it I think.

Well I just found this thread today and I'm not sure if this was mentioned at all or not. If your into vampires you should check out the Blood series by a Canadian writer names Tanya Huff. There is also a TV show out called Blood Ties, its pretty up in the air if there will be more shows or not but the past shows are available on the Lifetime website for viewing and iTunes for purchase. Also a DVD is said to release in the US soon and I believe is currently out in the UK. Just thought I'd share. I've heard alot of good things about this series [Twilight] so I will have to check it out soon.

These actors/actresses seem to really have the "look" of how the characters in the books are described--of course I like the picture of Rosalie that Brier Rose posted, seems closer to how I envisioned her to be!
