Stephanie herself has said that IF Jacob would have been destined to imprint on Bella he would have done so at the first time he saw her after his transformation.

I am glad to hear that. Edward is the only choice. I will say I look forward to seeing who they cast as Jacob though.

You should have heard my friend the other day, she is a hardcore Jake hater and she must find ways to make everything his fault:

Brit: Oh my god, if Bella every got together with Jake I would seriously have to kill myself.

Me: Why?

Brit: Because he's so horrible, he's all, "Yeah Bella I love you, I'm gonna go kill myself to be be with you" , but Edward would let her go. Jake is so immature.

Me: Hey Brit? You realize Jake is supposed to be our age right?

Brit: Yeah, so?

Me: WEll, how many guys are age can be defined as "mature"?

Brit: Whatever, Jake is still a loser, and a horrible person!

Me: You realize in the end he basically lets Bella go right? I mean he runs off into the woods because he can't handle her decission, but he accepts it.

Brit: Whatever.

I think Jake gets a bad rap a lot of the time because he does some stupid stuff. But I was reminding all my friends the other day HE"S A 16 YEAR OLD GUY! THEY DO STUPID STUFF!!

Not that I'm not all for Edward. Edward and Bella shall be together forever, I'm just sick of peopole ragging on Jake.... Ok, that was my rant.

Funny, it looked like Robert was driving off with Rachel Bilson in that TMZ video. I'm sure they would have said something though.

I am into the third book, bought them for DD, she is on book 1. She's a lot busier than I am!

I've been picturing Ellen Page as Bella all through. I think she'd be perfect, tiny, brunette, very fair, expressive brown eyes. Not drop dead gorgeous, but the more she talks the more you see in her. I think the girl they cast is too pretty, as is Rachel.

But then Ellen probably wouldn't be interested in a vampire romance movie.

The whole story line with Jacob is making me sad. It makes it seem that Edward isn't the only possible guy for her, and she doesn't really have to "die".

As promised, we were given the release date of Breaking Dawn. AUGUST 2, 2008 So, now is the time to approach your local booksellers about them doing a midnight release party.

We also will be designing a special limited edition Lexiconer shirt (just like we did with E-prom) so that Lexiconers can find each other at release events.

EDITED: I forgot to add that a portion of a chapter (note they didn’t say which) will be posted on Stephenie’s site in May.

And more news from the Lex this morning..

We found this on the Twilight Saga site and thought we should pass it on to all of you.

"The ECLIPSE special edition is on the way - featuring an excerpt of BREAKING DAWN and the first look at the cover! It will be available at 12:01 Saturday, May 31, along with the paperback of NEW MOON!

So there you have it folks. Our first look at the story AND the cover for BD.

Also, in movie news, Shock Till You Drop is announcing that Justin Chon from Just Jordan has been cast in the film. There are no details as to who he will be playing but we will late you know once we find out. Lots of thanks to Cocoa for the heads up on both of these stories. You can also find the information on Variety (who broke the story). It seems as if it was an announcement from Justin’s management and not Summit because Justin’s name and not the the film company nor the movie title were prominent in the release.

So what's all of your best guess for WHO this Justin Chon has been cast to play??
