So I've managed to book a Twilight Discovery package at DC for the evening of June 25th. The question I have for the huddled masses here... How does the Evening experience differ from the regular daytime experience? From what I understand from what I've seen on the site and my confirmation letter from about 5:30-5:45 they pretty much shut everything down to get all the day people outa there... And the day crowd is about 1000 people vs. 150 for the twilight group.

Beyond that, what other differences are there that I may want to be aware of?

(I picked the evening package because it fit better into my schedule and left the AM for sleeping in and a few small things I wanted to do... plus I figured for late June the heat and sun wouldn't be quite as oppressive for the evening experience as during the day.)

You do not get a dolphin swim with the evening programme, just a shallow water encounter. Dinner is much more upscale than lunch as well from what I have heard.

Hmmm....

So which program do you think is overall the better deal? Day or evening?

You may want to search the forums or look some pages back, because I asked about the twilight program about a month or two ago and got some more responses! Good luck!
