Twice in the same day..

Has anybody else done this? Yesterday my family and I had lunch AND dinner at Be Our Guest..This was our first time eating at BOG, we thought both dinner and lunch were great, and meeting the Beast after dinner was a great treat! Both meals were in the ballroom.

What a great opportunity to compare the lunch and dinner. A lot of people here seem to prefer the lunch except for the fact that you can meet Beast at dinner. Did you notice much difference in the food or atmosphere between lunch and dinner? Was it quieter? less hectic? at dinner. Did you still get your own drinks? Did dessert come out with your meal like at lunch? Do they have table cloths or anything else different at dinner? Did you feel rushed at all? Did your food still come out in one of those little carts like at lunch? I'd love to hear more....Thanks

We have done that- we did it close to the time it first opened. We sat in the Music Room for lunch and then the West Wing for dinner. In fact DH enjoyed the cream puffs so much that we ate a snack there the next afternoon as well.

Was it quieter? less hectic? at dinner. Definitely more relaxed and formal as well as quieter at dinner.

Did you still get your own drinks? Drinks are served and they come from the back- the spots where you can serve yourself are closed down at dinner

Did dessert come out with your meal like at lunch? Just like any other table service meal each course comes out on its own. The desserts are on a cart however and you can look at the cart to decide what you want.

Do they have table cloths or anything else different at dinner? Did you feel rushed at all? I don't remember tablecloths but it was over a year ago, we did not feel rushed although we had an early dinner time.

Did your food still come out in one of those little carts like at lunch? I'd love to hear more....Thanks

The carts were used for bringing most things out. It allows things to stay hot all the way to the table plus 1 server can bring more at a time.

We've eaten dinner there 3 times and while lovely, I have to say I did feel rushed. Our apps came out almost immediatly then before we were finished out comes the entrees. It doesn't feel freshly prepared. Like everything is plated before you order.
