Does anyone here read this to their kids the night before Christmas?
I used to - then when my youngest got engaged I started re-writing it every year - in a funny version that pertained to whatever was going on in our lives.. Now we read that every Christmas Eve instead - just for laughs and giggles.. My family, DD's IL's, and my DGD (11) think it's hysterical the things that I come up with..
The year that DD and her DH became engaged, I wrote a "special" version that applied to him and his parents (they were still working then) and they got such a kick out of it they made photo copies and handed them out to everyone they knew..
