TV Psychics Lisa Williams and John Edward

I don't know yet which network picked her up, but rumor has it - she's going to have another show on - I just don't know which station or how soon.

She is going to have a show on Lifetime beginning the end of October. It is a trial run for a week or so. Then they will decide if they are going to extend it.

I saw Lisa Williams a few weeks ago when she did a show in South Florida. She was really interesting and quite on target about those she read. SOme people have claimed that they might be "plants" but if they were plants they were also academy award winning actors.

Some pictures were published of her on stage and there were light orbs surrounding her head. At any rate, her energy and warmth were evident. She seemed like the real deal to me.

We saw Lisa Williams last night , and it was wonderful. Although we didn't get a reading, it was so amazing to watch her. She is warm and funny, and made for a nice evening. It was a long evening. The show started at 7:30, she took a break around 9pm for 20 minutes then back on until around 10:45.

We got to meet her in person afterwards at the meet and greet. She signed my book, and took a picture with me and my husband. I got two hugs from her. She is such a warm person. She truley seemed happy to talk with everybody. She talked to us, like we were old time friends . She was be funny, she had her cell phone on the table. She kept telling us, she expected her son to call her at any moment as he was with the sitter. She then went on to say her husband was at a boys night out with some friends.

Althought we didnt get a reading, I enjoyed our evening so much.

A coworker saw John Edward in Florida earlier this year. She said most of the readings came from the middle and the back of the auditorium.

I've had family members who had "gifts" and my mother's friend was very much a medium. We're a "spooky" family and I'd have it no other way.

When we went on Thursday we were 15 rows back. The readings came from all over. I do remember one in the very front row, one in the 3rd row, one in our row, and one in a row behind us. There were more. I felt bad for the people in the balcony, she didn't even look up at them.

It was very exciting seeing her in person. I am guessing the reason why the first 4 rows were taken quickly is because people probably assumed she would only doing readings in the front row.

Before the show started(7:30 start)they had a big screen up there, playing clips from her last seasons shows, and clips of her on different talk shows. She came out at exactly 7:30. She talked for a bit, a little about herself, talked about her new show coming up this week. FYI:...this week on Lifetime(Oct 27th-31)11am she has a 30 minute show on. They only did 5 episodes. She said if the ratings are good enough, it will be renewed..So she encouraged everybody to watch . She said she knew people were here mainly for readings so she wasn't going to talk too much about her life. She is very funny, and warm on stage. She said if you want to know more about her life, read her book ..She let people take pictures at one point. BUT...only at one point. She gave people a few minutes to snap pictures, she said many people will see "orbs" in their photos. Unfortunatley we didnt catch any
She then explained how the readings work. Apparently she has spirits up there. She said that sometimes when she first starts to do a reading that it may apply to many people, but it is always narrowed down. She then said , even if you "think" it applies to you raise your hand. Sometimes there would be 5 hands up. From there, she tries to narrow it down more with more details. WHen she reveals more details, more people sit down, and eventually only one person is left, and that is who the "spirit" is for.
For example, she said "I have an older gentleman here by the name of George"...She went to say he was a grandfather figure. So then the people who had a grandfather named George who passed over would raise their hand..She would give more details, like he was married to "Mary" etc...
and then go on from there.
Her readings were very long, which suprised me. After the reading was done, one of the ushers would hand out a red rose to the person. Around 9pm she broke for a break. 20 minutes later she was back. She said she rights down messages from spirits who talk to her on break. She reads the messages out loud. After that, she did more readings.At 10:45 it was over.
There was a meet and greet in the lobby. One line for VIP members, the the other line non VIP members. A man came out and told us not to ask Lisa for any readings, or if they can have a private reading in the future. He suggested we only take one picture, as not to hold up the line. We were 5 th or 6th in line. She was very welcoming, and very warm. I felt like I had known her forever. She was sweet and very personable. She signed my book, and signed a small photo postcard they had there. We had a picture taken with her. We chatted about the website etc..I got two hugs from her, and then we left.
I left there feeling at peace, I dont know why. I just got such a warm positive feeling from her.

I really wish I could go see her again. Tickets were pricey, but its a once in a lifetime thing. Don't forget to meet her after the show.
I think that was the best part for me, talking to her and getting a hug from her.

I saw Lisa last spring and it was much like sunlvr described above. I got to meet her afterward too she signed her book for me and gave both DH and I big hugs, LOL. It almost felt like I knew her, she's so personable. I did think her readings got very lonnnnnng, and some were better than others in detail (as far as being interesting to the rest of the crowd; as always, she was very accurate). In the 3 hrs we were there, she only read about 8 groups IIR.

I've seen John Edward before, too, and I liked his show better. He's a great speaker and teacher. FWIW, I also liked his book better, too. (One Last Time.)

I enjoy watching both of them.
