TV channels

Am I doin something wrong or is there only 5 tv channels on cable at the Fort? checked all settings have old style tv/dvd player. Was able to get internet router first day, Wireless router working great! (Walmart $20)

Just guessing, "Old style" does that mean "not digital"?

If your tv is digital, you will need to run the channel search option on your tv. Otherwise, you will only have access to those 5.

Last time I was there, the cable had 8327 Disney/WDW related channels and 5 "regular" channels.

Some time in last year and a half Disney switched to Dish Network, most people need to get a TV box from the Meadows Trading Post in order to get all of the channels they offer. At least that's the way it was when I was there a few weeks ago.

When we were there in June, I thought it was DirecTV they had switched to. It looked more like DirecTV then Dish Network, but I could be wrong or they switched after we left.

You are probably right, I knew they had changed to one or the other and we needed to get a box from the trading post.

35 years ago we had to get a "box" for cable, now we have to get a "box" for cable. Wow, thats progress.
