Tux at Palo's and semi-formal night?

Does anyone wear a tux at Palo's? I ask this question because I am considering renting a tux for the Formal night. I was considering wearing it on Semi-formal night as well if I wouldn't stand out. Then, I figured, as long as I have it, I could wear it to Palo's. This way, I have all of my "dressy" nights covered, and I don't need to bring a suit or tie with me at all.

Am I going about this the wrong way? Would I stand out wearing a tux on the 2 non-formal, but "dressy" nights?

Just trying to reduce the luggage!

I wore <i>my</i> tux when we went to Palo on formal night, and I was not the only person to do so. Some of the ladies who were their were dressed in their formalwear.

Im planning on having DH wear his to Palos whether we have dinner on formal or semi-formal night. It's either the tux or shorts!

I wore my tux to Palo - just changed the vest & bow tie to get a different look.
I didn't wear it on semi-formal night but there were some that did.

I say wear it. A lot of men wore their tuxes on Semi-Formal night as well as on Formal Night. Also, there were many men who wore their tux in Palo both times we were there -- even on the last night of the cruise!

Hi, psimon. I wore my tux to Palo's on formal night . Quite a few others did as well. If you got it flaunt it. The night we were there was also Captain's gala night and everyone, especially the ladies were dressed to the nines. The ships officers were there in there formal wear as well. Everyone looked great! If you're taking it wear it. If you're renting it get the most for your money. You will not stand out in a tux at those times but instead look like you know what you're doing. I say all of this even though I hate dragging the tux and accessories along with me. Cheers, wes

For those that own their own tux, about how much does one cost? I never thought to buy one but it might be nice to own. What are rentals for the cruise going for?

Check our eBay. Got mine for less than $50 (less that the cost of renting) & also was able to pick up a Mickey vest & bow tie, a Genie vest, and a 2nd, different MM vest. Also got tuxes for both of my sons & a dress for DD on eBay! DW got her wish of the whole family dressed up!
