Tutto Italia Menu Posted

Also keep in mind that this restaurant, as currently presented, is an interim solution. The plan is to do a major rehab and open a brand new restaurant in that spot soon.

ok, does anybody see just plain ole spaghetti and meatballs on the menu??? If not, then it is out for us! Also, the lasagna appears to be a white sauce instead of a red sauce (bolognese?). Uh Oh!

Based on the pictures posted on allears.net, the lasagna has both a red and a white sauce.

Although I don't know which interpretation is used at this place, I find that bolognese sauce at most Italian restuarants is just a tomato meat sauce. It may have some milk or cream in it, but it is by no means a "white sauce".

The lasagna, according to the desciption, seems to have two sauces in it. A red tomato sauce and a bechamel. That is a pretty traditional recipe.

If you want plain old spaghetti and meatsauce, you best get over to Tony's. Tutto Italia doesn't look like the place for you.

Side note: If you were to get the family style dining, is that covered under the DDP?

Thanks. I saw bechamel and thought white sauce. I will check out the pictures mentioned in the previous post. Thanks again.

I think it looks pretty good but NO WAY would I pay those high prices. If you are on the dining plan sure but OOP...no

When you can cook better for yourself or home - or go out and have GREAT Italian or Mexian (or whatever) food at a restaurant, it just doesn't seem worth it.

Well, you're paying the theme-park-restaurant premium...

I think this restaurant certainly deserves a try, especially while it's only 1TS credit on the DDP. I cancelled our reservation for Whispering Canyon and replaced it with this for 10/8 dinner. I'll certainly be writing a food review to let you all know the scoop.

Please find out more about the Family Style Dinner and the DDP! :thumbsup2

I looked at the menus and I don't see them as any more expensive than most of the other places in DW the good TS places. After reading this thread I have cancelled my lunch ADR at Rose and Crown and changed it to Tutto Italia.

And, if indicative of the upcoming menu price increases at other restaurants, suggests another reason why the Dining Plan no longer will include appetizers and gratuities.

guess we won't be trying this one out - DH would only want spaghetii and meatballs - me, i'd be open to trying other things, but not DH

Actually pasta and meat sauce IS on this menu...bolognese is meat sauce, but instead of spaghetti its tagliatelle...not the most in depth Italian menu i've ever seen!!!
