Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar during F&W

I’m already looking ahead to my annual Food and Wine trip with my best friend. I love to find new places for us to try that my kids would have no interest in! For this trip, Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar has caught my eye. Can anyone tell me what the crowds will be like on a Thursday or Friday night in September during F&W? We like to wander around and snack in the afternoon but then sit down somewhere to take a break around dinner time when the crowds really start picking up. I know the Wine Cellar doesn’t take reservations - are we looking at insane waits such that I should just take this off my wish list? Or might this be do-able? Any tips (other than go at 2pm) ? Thanks!!

It is one of my fondest memories at EP. Relaxing, fun, simple atmosphere with a great glass of wine and meats/ cheeses. HEAVEN!

Thursday it will be fine, you may need to wait a bit depending the the time you choose to go in. I wouldnt even attempt it on a Friday night. In fact, I wouldnt step foot into Epcot on a Friday night during F&W it is way too crowded for me.

Believe me, I’d rather avoid Friday night, but we don’t have a choice. Sounds like we’ll try for Tutto on Thursday and get an ADR Friday night. Thanks for confirming what I suspected!

Just check to make sure they aren't closed for any F&W events. We tried to go two years ago during F&W and they were closed for a F&W specific event for a couple hours. Love Tutto Gusto, have fun!

Where might I find that information? (I assume it won’t be announced until closer to the date, but where could I look that up when the time comes?)

I'm also a huge Tutto Gusto fan. But shhhh... don't tell everyone! There have been recent reports of a reduction in number of options on the menu but I haven't seen confirmation. I'm crossing my fingers it isn't true. We won't know the 2018 F&W events schedule for a while but in the past the closure has been in the afternoon.

The 2017 schedule is below:

Italian Food and Wine Pairing Luncheon: This 5-course meal will showcase ingredients from the country's rich culture such as white truffles and other epicurean delights. Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar at Tutto Italia Ristorante, select Mondays and Wednesdays - September 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, and 27; October 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25, and 30; November 1, 6, and 8; 12:00-2:30pm, $99 plus tax per person; gratuity included.

They closed for a while before and after the above described event.

Don't even try on a Friday night. We tried last year and it was a zoo! As was Saturday night. During the week, it was fun.
We also did the Italian food and wine pairing last year and it was a lot of fun! On the to do list again this year along with the Mediterranean Food and wine pairing.
