tutorial for photoshop elements

I am so at a loss on this. I just downloaded the trial for photoshop elements and am wanting to start designing. I have no idea how to begin. Is there a tutorial anywhere on how to do this? I love all the designs I've seen and want to start too. Any help is really appreciated.

I am trying to learn, too. I bought a book, "The Missing Manual" or something like that, couldn't find a Photoshop Elements 6 for Dummies, and started there.

Since I use a mac, I have signed up for one-on-one and can get one hour a week of one-on-one training on any subject I want, so guess what I am choosing. I went for my first session last night, and some things are a little more clear than they were before. Don't get me wrong, I am not ready to set the world on fire with my creations , still just learning the basics.

There are several free online tutorials that are good. I have them saved on my home computer, but I know one source I used a lot in the beginning was through about.com. I think if you search (I use yahoo not google, but I'm sure any search engine would work) "free photoshop elements tutorial" you would find some.
