This might generate more responses if you posted it on the restaurant board, maybe. Though I find with questions like these it is usually about half the people saying yes, and half saying, no, it's not worth it.
For me, I really enjoyed the food, had free dining the last two trips, this year, we do not, but I am going again for this trip. We are adults with no kids. I especially liked it because we got a pre park open breakfast. The food was very good with many different things to try. This year I was not able to get that early ADR, we have a 10:30. So, we will probably (hopefully) be able to try both breakfast and lunch items.
Tusker House is my favorite restaurant at WDW, hands down. The breakfast is incredible, and make sure to check out the african selections. They also bring you "Jungle Juice" that is fantastic (It's basically "POG" juice - passionfruit, orange, guava). I always enjoy Tusker House when I'm there!
Here is another vote for Tusker House breakfast...specifically a late breakfast on an EMH morning. We rode Expedition Everest three times in a row and got a good quiet look at the park until our 10:30 ADR. Breakfast was great, especially the African specialties as previously mentioned.
