Was going to give Tusker House a try at breakfast on my upcoming trip, but am having second thoughts. How is the food? What about the service? Is it really loud in there? How is the character interaction? Is this better to do for lunch instead?

Would like to know too, headed there next month

We loved our bfast there. Character interaction was great. We saw Mickey, Goofy, Donald and Daisy in safari outfits. ONe of the few places to see Daisy Duck! They have a little African inspired parade for the kids to participate in with the characters. The kids can play any number of little percussion intruments. The bfast food was delicious. A great buffet! I would not say it was any louder than any other character meal. The only loud part is the parade part, but that's too fun too mind the noise. I highly recommend bfast at Tusker House, and if you get an early ADR, you'll already be in the park when it opens. Have fun!

If you're going for breakfast, ask if Mike from Fort Lee, NJ can be your server. He's excellent!

This was great to know. We are booked there on our June trip and was wondering the same thing. Thank you for the info.

My bro-in-law just returned from WDW. Said Tusker House was awesome for b-fast. We're headed there late June.

It would be a mistake if you didn't go. We went last January and loved it. The food was great and the atmosphere was fantastic. We liked it so much we are going to try dinner during our upcoming April trip.

Thank you for your input. I had seen some negative comments on the boards about long waits, loud areas, etc. and started to have 2nd thoughts. Is it better to do this restaurant as soon as the park opens or wait until 9am-10am?

Our ADR was at 8:40am. I liked getting there early, getting seated quickly and getting out into the park just a few minutes past opening. If I had to do it again, I may get an even earlier ADR if anything.

What kind of sweet breakfast things (like different kinds of french toast, pancakes, etc.) did they have on the buffet? I've only seen Mickey waffles and danishes. I know they have quite a bit of non-typical breakfast items--was there a lot of more standard stuff? I'm taking my 11-year old niece (who might actually be The World's Pickiest Eater) but she does eat a lot of breakfast foods.
