Tusker House or Yak & Yeti?

DH and I are going to WDW in February and we've never had table service in AK. We're trying to decide between Tusker House and Yak & Yeti. Anyone had any recent experiences with these two? Thanks for reading.

Haven't tried Tusker House since it became a TS but we just had lunch at Yak & Yeti last month and it lived up to our expectations. We both had the steak & shrimp and fried wontons for dessert. The food was excellent. Service was good and the restaurant itself was really interesting - lots of detail and things to look at. We were seated within ten minutes of our ADR. Yak & Yeti is one of our new favorites.

We loved our entrees at Y&Y...the food pics that I have seen of TH do not appeal to me

Actually I don't think Tusker House is "true" TS in that all dinners are one price and you get to choose from one big menu. Y&Y is traditional TS with appetizers, enterees., etc all at their own price.
Were I to choose, I'd go with Y&Y. THey also have a pretty decent beer selection as well.

Just got back from our Disneymoon and loved Yak and Yeti!

Best ribs ive had on property for me, and DW loved the duck.

We were a little cold inside though (end of September - aircon doing its job ) but this probably had something to do with getting the full force of KRR in our face about 20 minutes before we went in

Heres another vote for Yak & Yeti. We ate lunch there 2 weeks ago and the food, service and decor were perfect.

We really enjoyed Yak and Yeti food, service and atmosphere. It was a great time out from the park, very relaxing.

We'll be trying Tusker House on our next trip, but I expect it to be less relaxing just becasue it is a buffet.

I had booked Yak & Yeti for my upcoming trip but changed it to Tusker House after reading recent reviews (both get good reviews!...Tusker House seems to have improved lately). One of the main reasons I am switching is that we are eating at Tokyo Dining the day before and so I thought another asian themed meal would be repetitive. Plus I loved the menu at Tusker House, lots of veggies, etc. Either way should be great!

I haven't eaten at the Tusker House since it has become a TS, but the Yak and Yeti was really good. We ate there last week and I had steak and shrimp. It was yummy. They also had many great desserts!! The atmosphere was neat as well.
