Tusker House lunch - still a character meal?

I know that breakfast and dinner are character meals, I just want to be 100% sure that lunch is a character meal too! Anyone ever been there for lunch? Is the food good?

Breakfast and lunch are character meals. Dinner is NOT.

We were there last week and didn't know that it was a character meal when we made the ADR.

Good variety of food and several characters make their way around to your table: Goofy, Daisy, Mickey (I might be missing one).

We got a photo op with Daisy before entering the restaurant. Later I saw a duck sneak up behind me at the table and said "Is that Donald". Daisy was very "upset". Next time around I apologized and got a big kiss from Daisy

Food is very good! Nice job on the salmon! Many different flavors and still some familiar favorites! You will not be disappointed... If you can, request Neil as your server, he does a phenominal job!

I read that the character lunch was temporary. Anyone know if its permanent? We love the lunch without characters as it was a quiet break from the park.
