Tusker House Lunch and Reserved seats at Finding Nemo

Tusker House (Animal Kingdom) Lunch to offer reserved seating for Finding Nemo - The Musical! Beginning December 1st, anyone booked for lunch at Tusker House between 1:00pm and 1:40pm will receive a ticket for reserved seating at the Finding Nemo 3:15pm show. If you are already booked during that time frame you will qualify for the reserved seating ticket. Only reservations between 1:00pm and 1:40pm qualify. One ticket per person dining.

I am very excited. Anytime that I can do something that I wanted to do anyway and have a free perk like reserved seating at a popular show afterwards, well, that really works for me. I had wanted to go to Tusker House for lunch on our AK day. I even had an ADR early on, but cancelled a while ago due to one of my many itinerary changes. We are 20 days away from the start of our vacation, so I was quite pleasantly surprised to find availability on 12/17/08. I can't wait!

Good for you! Tusker house for lunch is fantastic; we ate there for the first time in October, but unfortunately did not get to see the Nemo show because the show times just did not work for us, hopefully next time. Enjoy

I just booked this today for January 1 at 1opm. We've never eaten there before and I'm thinking its a good excuse to go to AK (its our least favorite) and we have never seen the Nemo show. It sounds like it will be a cool way to spend the last day as I'm sure the other parks will be packed.

Not sure what day your going but they seemd to have tons of ressies beginning at 1pm on January 1st. If you're really interested, it may be worth a quick call.

We lined up 45 min. in advance and were way back by the entrance to DinoLand. We ended up with o.k. seats. It's not unusual for people to start lining up at least 1 hr. ahead, especially on very busy days. The theatre can even reach capacity before everyone in line gets in, leaving people out of luck. You can waste a lot of time waiting for Nemo. With the Tusker House perk I'm guessing you won't have to stand in the regular line, but will be allowed to enter through a special reserved seat line, similar to the Fantasmic! packages. I think it's a terrific idea. My family doesn't want to see Nemo again, because of the long wait, even though we enjoyed the show. This might change our minds.

It's a table service restaurant (vs counter service) and it is a buffet (vs ordering from a menu).

Sorry about my original description. I made it sound like some new kind of restaurant! Oh and by the way, the food there is really good! We try to have lunch there every trip now that they changed it from a counter service to a buffet. Some of the food is similar to what they serve at Boma, another really good buffet.

I hope the Nemo ticket option is still available in 2010 and just not a 2009 try-out.

We love the actors in the Nemo show. The actors work the puppets so well.

We ate at Tusker House for lunch when it was CS. The buffet sounds good and adventerous for our family. We eat mostly 'American' and sometime venture to other foods.

What I know we would eat at Tusker House lunch:
Caesar Salad
Mixed Greens
Sliced Turkey, Ham and Cheeses
Fresh Fruit
Macaroni and Cheese
Chicken Drumsticks
Green Beans
Mashed Potatoes
Orzo Pasta
Rotisserie Chicken
Yukon Gold Potato Wedges
Carved Top Sirloin Roast and Pork Loin
Fruit Cobbler
Assorted Pastries


Plenty of food for lunch

HUGE thanks!....we've been so bummed about the original THouse closing that we haven't wanted to bother trying it. I see though there's still salmon and a few other items that are MAYBE similar to what they used to serve at Tusker?

It is 20$ for lunch on a 'normal' day. For New Years Day its $23.00 pp.
