Tusker House - Late Breakfast?

I've been thinking about making a breakfast reservation for Tusker House, but the only time that is available for the day I chose was 10:50am. I noticed that breakfast is only served until 10:55. Will I even be able to get breakfast food or will the buffet turn over to lunch before we even eat? The lunch menu doesn't tempt me at all so I'm not sure what to do.

You will definitely be able to get breakfast, but they will do a turn to lunch sometime after 11. They leave out breakfast items for a while and gradually phase them out. We like this time because we like doing both breakfast and lunch, but if lunch doesn't appeal to you you may want to look for an earlier time.

Okay thanks! I'll keep looking for an earlier time, but if this is worst case, it might not be too bad!

We had a very similar time in June (10:40), and at least on that day and presumably every day, they started putting lunch out at 11:00 but breakfast also stayed out until 11:15. We enjoyed the "brunch" approach of having either buffet available. I am a big breakfast fan, but my wife is not so much, so ultimately having both available satisfied everybody.

If you end up with the 10:50 ADR, I would still try to arrive 10 or 15 minutes early with the idea of helping your chances of being seated in time to get breakfast, just in case there is a wait. We have had breakfast there twice -- once early and once late -- and didn't have to wait long either time, but as with any restaurant (particularly in a theme park), there are times where they get backed up.

Thanks Kimosabe, that definitely makes sense. My boyfriend will probably enjoy the lunch offerings, while I'm more of a breakfast fan so this may work out perfectly.
