Are the foods for the kids meals accessible to adults at Tucker House lunch? Picky grandpa who wants ROL, so doing a lunch package. He might like lunch stuff, but I want to make sure there is something for him to eat. His idea of adventurous eating is spaghetti and tacos.

Yes. It's a buffet. Anyone can choose what they would like from any area--this goes for any buffet at Disney. He could have 5 plates of corn dog nuggets and no one would blink an eye.
Yes, exactly this. Anyone can eat anything they want from the buffet. Nobody will care.

I have a reservation at Tusker in August and I have never been. Reviews have been positive, but what are people's thoughts on variety and food. I have 5 children that aren't very adventurous when it comes to the food category, though I keep trying.

Are you going for lunch/dinner? Or is it breakfast? I've been to both. When my son was younger he was picky. At tusker house for lunch/dinner i've noticed for kids they dont offer any chicken fingers/nuggets or pizza. Its corn dog nuggets, mac n' cheese, mashed potato, deli meats, cheese, im not sure if they have fries? They do have roast chicken if your kids like that? Also roast pork etc...although i dont think most kids like roasted pork lol. See more here: MENU

If there's not a lot you think your kids will eat, i'd cancel the reservation to be honest. Thats a lot of money to waste because as you know, character meals are expensive.

The three times we've eaten there the kids portion of the buffet was really, really limited. My kids don't eat corn dogs so it was basically Mac n cheese or bust. I'm not sure an adult would be super pleased with those options, especially for the price. We had the same situation several years ago when my father went with us - picky eater. They seemed to have better variety then so he was able to get the carved meats and some of the sides so he was ok. They do also have soup and when we went in May it was a very standard vegetable soup.

Thank you for the info. We are going for dinner. My kids love fries so hopefully they have that. Mac & cheese and chicken is perfect as well. We are only planning on doing 3 character meals this trip as we are staying out the park at a resort so we will cook and save money. We are going as a family to dinner at Tusker, breakfast at Ohana's which we have done before and they love and then just me and the girls are doing Cinderella for the first time. Ohana's is gotten more expensive since I have last gone 2 years ago but the kids love lilo & stitch so it was a must do.
