Tusker House: Do they have Mickey Waffles or B-day surprises?

Does anyone know if Tusker House has Mickey Waffles on the breakfast buffet? What about any special b-day treats? I went when it was Donald's Breakfastaurus, but I've never done the new one.

Any feedback on the breakfast buffet is also really appreciated! Thanks!

We thought TH was the best WDW buffet we've been to (we've been to most of them). It's also the only one we're likely to return to. I don't know about birthday surprises, but they did have Mickey waffles.

I can't remember about the waffles. But we had noted on the ADR that we were celebrating DD's birthday, and she was given a surprise birthday cupcake and card signed by the characters.

We thought the buffet was good, but not fantastic. The way they have the tables set up (and what the server tells you) is to go to any table you like, don't get in line at the end. Of course most people got in line at the one end, so we felt uncomfortable going to the other tables without standing in the line. For some reason, this put a little damper on things for us. The food was good, though. And, they do have Krispy Kremes!

We were just there and they did have Mickey Waffles, the absolute best juice I've ever tasted, and a huge selection of food. We had a great ressie time where it was crossing from breakfast when we got there, to lunch right before we left and the server invited us to pick items from the lunch menu if we so desired. It wasn't crowded at all, and moving around was no problem. We were also encouraged to grab some fruit or cookies for the kids later in the day which I thought was fantastic! Definitely going there again next year!

Mickey waffles & a great time, too. We absolutely loved our breakfast there last week. The food choices were really good, both for us & our children (6 & 2.) DH & DS loved the juice; I'm a little picky so it wasn't a favorite of mine.

I wonder if they'd make gluten-free mickey waffles? Anyone know? My daughter has celiac disease, we'd love to eat there for her birthday, but I know she'll be mad if she can't eat the waffles!

This is the only character breakfast I want to go to on our trip next April. So glad to hear that they have Mickey waffles - DD7 and I love them!

Wonderful! Thank you all very much! We're really excited about our upcoming trip. Me, DH, best friend (28), & her DH are celebrating her b-day & I think she would be delighted w/ any special treat. DH loves Mickey waffles & it's their first trip, so I wanted to have special time with Mickey too. I think this sounds perfect for us! I appreicate your feedback!
