Can anyone give their opinion? I thought it would take forever for me to try to find some reviews in the review section. Thanks!

I know a lot of people like this buffet, but not one person in our party thought it was very good. We found a couple of items we liked, but as a whole, nobody was impressed. I was asked to not to put this one on the "go back to" list.

But keep in mind, everyone has different opinions about food, maybe the restaurant was having an off night.

Thanks for your reply! I just had not seen many comments on the place at all, so wanted to hear some opinions. Is there enough "normal" (lol) food to eat, as well as the other stuff??

This is the menu I copied from allears.net. It hasn't been updated recently, but that usually means no changes (although they are not always 100% correct). So you can see it's kind of a mix, you should be able to find enough regular food there if you don't want to be too adventurous.

Like I said, I have seen threads where people have given it good reviews. I always think it's worth giving something a try once if it sounds good to you.:)

My family really enjoyed this buffet. There was such a large selection of different types of hot and cold food.

The seafood stew when we ate there was actually a shrimp dish that was great.

I think there is enough normal food to eat. My wife is not very adventurous and she enjoyed it. She liked the:

Rotisserie Chicken
Yukon Gold Potato Wedges
Mashed Potatoes
Carved Top Sirloin Roast and Pork Loin
Cape Malay Curry Chicken
and some of the salad and rice dishes.

You should give it a try, unless everyone in your party is super picky.

Tusker House is second to Boma as my favorite Disney restaurant. Of course the menus are similar so it makes sense. I eat healthy and these two restaurants just have the highest quantity of choice of the kinds of foods I eat like couscous and humus.

Food taste is so subjective though so take my opinion for what it is worth.

Thanks! Your are very right, and the is my philosophy as well :thumbsup2 Some hate LTT, I liked it ! Sci-Fi get some bad reviews, but I was glad I tried it for the atmosphere.

It is my dh, myself and our two kids ages 8 and 10. So hopefully everyone will be able to find something they can swallow ;) If not, we'll just have more desserts! ;) As of right now, we have an ADR here, but I just wanted to hear more about it. Thanks everybody! :)

We actually really loved Tusker House. It is more accessible food-wise than Boma (at least to us). Even the picky eater in our bunch found more than enough food to satisfy her. I highly recommend the coffee sauce they have for the pork. It was great!

We were there in Sept. It was me, ds16, ds15, dd's9, dd5, and ds2. Everyone managed to find something they liked on the buffet. The oldest 2 attempted to empty every dish on the entree line several times lol. Even my picky 9 yr old was happy. It's not often all 6 kids are happy at the same time!

We went there for lunch on my birthday and loved it. :goodvibes There is a mini review with a couple of pics in my trip report -- page 7, post #101, if you are interested :)

we were there in May of this year, and we all enjoyed it (4 adults) The "adventuresome" food is not all that exotic (sounds more exotic than it tastes) and there is a lot that is just "regular American" food. We'd go back for sure (once we try more restaurants we haven't been too:) )

I loved it here! The seafood stew was great, smoked salmon mmmm. I enjoyed it alot. There is enough food to satisfy different types of people. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Thank you! I did read your review! The desserts look good enough to skip the real food part :lmao:

We had dinner there in August, and all of us loved it. The food was good, as was the service. Desserts are fab, too.
