Tusker House Bkfst - hard to come by?

I'm trying to book a Donald's Safari breakfast for some time during our Sept. trip. I wasn't able to do the 180+10 online. Sounds like I'm not the only one. Oh well. I thought since this and O'hana were the only two I was trying to get...no big deal, right? Got my O'hana ressie just fine, but...

I can't get a time before 9 am for Tusker House the whole 10 days of our trip. Is it just that popular that all those pre-park-opening times get snapped up right away? Or are more times available when calling?

I avoid phone calls like the plague, but if it gets me into AK early, I might just suck it up and give WDW a ring.

Any advice?

Did you try again? I just checked for the heck of it and an 8:20am came up for the 18th. I wonder if maybe they hadn't loaded all the times when you first checked?

We finally called WDW and had a WONDERFUL experience. they were very friendly. the wait time was reasonable (4 minutes for us) and they were able to get us Tusker House at the time we requested (11:30) . The kicker? We called 60 days out! Highly recommend calling them.

That does seem odd as I was able to choose from a few times for our May trip and just did our ADRs last week which is only a little more than a month out. Keep checking.

Last year, we had no problems getting - and changing - our pre-park opening TH ADR. Something is fishy with your experience and I bet it's that glitchy web site. Try calling.

Yea! I got 8:10 for 9/11! I finally bit the bullet and called. I kept seeing 9:10 for earliest available online.

What times does Tusker House operate for breakfast/brunch? We are not early risers, so we don't mind not being there when the park opens. I will call like suggested for the reservations. 45 days out!

If you are seeing more than one time (eg, 910 and 1120), try putting in a specific hour rather than just "breakfast." if you put in 8 am, you may very well get times in the 8 o'clock hour. I have no clue why but this has worked often for me.
On the other hand, if just one time is showing for a meal, my experience is that that is the only time.
