Evening,
Looking for some advice from you good people if you wouldn't mind. I have a ADR for Tusker House 8:15 on Wednesday the 10th of July and am wondering if it will provide any advantage for my daughters and I when it comes to getting on FOP? The park opens at 9. Will we be seated early if we get to the restaurant at 8? Will be get a jump on the rope drop crowd?
Thank you in advance.

You’ll be seated as soon as you check-in and your breakfast will put you behind the rope drop crowd.

It would be better to skip breakfast. Arrive at AK a little before 8:00 to get in line to enter the park.

The only way to get a jump on the RD crowd is to actually be in the RD crowd, and be towards the front. With AK there aren't any ways to get ahead like there are in MK. If you wanted to do FOP early at RD, you'd want to move your ADR to later in the morning.

Wow....thanks. I thought if we made the breakfast snappy we might get a jump. I take it the rope drop crowd get in about half 8?

On many days, they can enter the park within an hour (give or take) before the posted "opening" time.

I'm not sure what exactly you mean...but...the RD crowd that lines up for Avatar land gets in about 20 or 30 minutes or so early, and gets shuffled all the way to the bridge leading up to the Avatar section. Then about 15 minutes before they actually let the crowd in. So by park opening you actually might have already ridden FOP and already off the ride.

Hypothetically speaking, if we are lined up at AK for 8, is there any chance we can do both Pandora attractions by 10? We have one day at AK and have Up close with Rhinos booked for 10:45. Thanks for the help

Most definitely. If you get in the RD crowd for FOP, and get on it right away, you can then immediately hope over to Navi River and you'll be done with both rides by 9:15. The wait for Navi won't be too big at RD, so it's easy to do if you get on and off FOP quickly. However, if you're at the back of the RD crowd, it's going to be hard, as the FOP line will quickly build.

Definitely

The OP would be better to move TH breakfast to 9:15, then be in the RD crowd by 8:15 on the bridge to Pandora. You should be getting off FOP around 9 & can then head to TH.
