Tusker beer @ AKL ?

Does anyone know if the AKL has the Tusker Beer. Last Food & Wine Fest we were disappointed to learn that the African stand did not have Tusker Beer so we tried the AKL food court where we usually got it. They didnt have it either, we learned that there was a problem with the company shipping it from Africa over to the states. We are going to the food & wine fest in October, I hope they worked out the glitches!!

I think the shipping problems are over. Another place you can find Tusker is at the Dawa Bar at the AK (in Africa). We had one the last time we were at the AK (a little over a month ago).

I had a few at Victoria Falls Lounge in December. I really wish I could find somewhere locally that carries it.

We'll be at AKL in Oct-Nov and I'm gonna relieve them of some of their inventory.

Can you give me an idea what this beer is like in taste and color?

I personally dont like many beers outside of a michelob ultra, dont care for a really beer, bitter, hops tasting beer..tusker beer is a very refreshing on a hot day beer, light smooth lager type, well brewed. crisp & clean..hope this helps! definetly give it a try!!
