Turtle Talk with Crush-- Worth the Wait?

So, I've heard really good things about Turtle Talk with Crush-- but when I put it into RideMax, it seems like the wait is always 25-30 minutes long. I rally can't imagine my preschool boys waiting for anything for 30 minutes. Is it really worth the wait, or should we just skip it? --Katie

We enjoyed it. Our wait was only about 10 minutes..about one showing and we have seen it three times in two different trips. I think it is really cute and the little kids get to sit down front and talk to Crush.

We went to Turtle Talk with Crush this past February. The wait time wasn't long at all and this was during the Mardi Gras Louisiana invasion Epcot was pretty darn busy but this show didn't have a long wait. I also find that the posted wait times are usually a bit longer than actual wait time.

Anyhow, we loved this show! I wasn't sure what to expect but it was really cute and fun! The kids all sit up front and the adults sit on the benches in the back. Then Crush comes on and boy is he fun! I'd wait in line and go again for sure with my kids.

I think Monsters Inc Laugh Floor is much better and its basically the same technology, but its funny for kids and adults, where Turtle Talk is mainly for the kids.

Adults only, but we think it is incredibly funny. We have never waited long, but we do this at opening right after Soarin' & Nemo. Depending on the kids in the room, you will be laughing at this all day long.

ridemax overestimates on wait times. if your schedule looks good to you, then it's fine. i think it typically assumes full waiting time on show type attractions since there's a few minutes where everyone goes in and then it's all about waiting again, so it would require a level of precision that ridemax can't offer.

IMO it's one of the best sees in Epcot. We love it and look forward to going to see Turtle Crush every trip. The wait is not normally long. Definately go and see it. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I think it's pretty cute and worth a little wait.

We've been to TT twice. The 2nd time we went Crush called on my DD to ask him a question. She couldn't remember what she wanted to ask him and said "Um, I forget the question" and Crush answered "That's good. Because I forget the answer." It was hysterical (more funny than it sounds in writing LOL!!)

We were there during a busy Thanksgiving week and barely noticed the wait. We got there early but still didn't feel like we waited too long. There's a lot to look at while you're waiting and it's in one big room. DH kept an eye on the kids as they wandered around and I stood in the general "line" area. When the room started filling up, they came to stand with me and wait for the doors to open.

It was cute and we'd do it again. My 4yr old loved it.

I think it's worth the wait. I like it much better than the Monster's Inc Laugh Floor at MK.

Kids sit in front and often get better opportunities to ask questions to Crush.

We went for this first time this year, and our whole family really enjoyed it. We waited maybe 10 minutes. It's on a list now for future visits.

I thought it was better than Monsters Inc (which we like as well but it's not a must do for us)

Turtle Talk with Crush was awesome!! It's worth the wait (I'm 36 and even I thought so!)

Love it!! Worth the wait, and you can check out the aquariums while you wait.

We only waited about 5 minutes, and my DD9 got to talk to Crush. It was really fun. My DD6 wanted to try to get to talk to Crush so we went again, no line got to go right back in and she got to talk to Crush. They were both very pleased. We were there the day before Thanksgiving and there was no waiting. Even if there was, it was fun and would have waited.

again, your wait is dictated by the timing of when you get there since everyone is let in at once. it could be 1 minute, it could be 20 minutes. just like the buses. it's luck of the draw.

very rarely does it fill to the point where you'd have to wait another session. it does happen (particularly in the early morning after everyone goes there from soarin')/

Unless it's really, really busy, we've never waited for more than one show cycle for Crush. We don't have kids, and in my opinion it's waaaaay better than Monsters Inc. Monsters is much more "scripted," even tho' they have some freedom within the script. Crush has a basic script too, but he seems to have a lot more latitude to improvise. Every now and then he'll toss in a joke for the adults too (stuff that goes over the wee ones' heads). It's always a must-do for us.

We waited with our DGC 3, 4 and 5 years when we went in November and I was surprised that the aquariums in the waiting room did keep the children occupied. We did have to wait for the nearest waiting area to empty, and then we entered it, so our wait was longer than just one show, but we all felt it was worth it.

Crush is a lot of fun for adults even without kids, we love it. It is a differnt show each time as Crush spends so much time interacting with the kids in the audience and speeking to a parent or two We never waited more than one cycle of the show either so that wait time is way off IMHO.

We also love Monsters and feel is it well worth seeing as the audience interaction is so great and differnt everytime too with each set of people.

It's a fun show, the kids will definitely enjoy it. Worth the short wait.
