If your kids are Finding Nemo/Crush fans, do not miss Turtle Talk w/Crush in The Living Seas at Epcot. Crush is in an "acquarium" with a microphone and he talks to the kids. All the kids sit up front on the floor and he talks a bit then has q/a with them. It is very realistic - I don't know how they do it but it was the biggest hit! We had to go twice and it was even a little different the 2nd time. Dory makes an appearance as well. Not to be missed for Crush fans! Gimme some fin... Noggin... Duuude!

A second thumbs up for Turtle Talk! :cool1:

We were there in April and my family all loved this attraction. I wouldn't have known about it if it weren't for these boards, and my DD8 rated it in her top ten attractions and we laugh about it frequently.:goodvibes

It isn't really advertised as such within EPCOT which is a shame because many recent visitors I have spoken to didn't see it. I thought it was pretty much the perfect character based attraction and far more entertaining than Stitch's Great Escape.

Regards
Rosie

This is a really cute attraction. The technology is neat in that the character really interacts with the audience. I really enjoyed this attraction

Agreed - my 2 year old loves Finding Nemo and sat entranced during Turtle Talk. It was a great show and I had a good time too. Who knew that "dude" could be such a useful word?

When I saw it, it was cute, but I heard they were going to add Dorey, which, I think, would be great! Have they done that yet?

where does this take place or where do I find out what time ect.
thanks
kim

sorry I mis read I now know where just where do I find out what time this takes place.
thanks again
kim

This was like the totally best thing ever dude!!

We had so much fun here, and it is Must See on our list from now on.

We can't wait to go back and get to talk to Dory.

I thought I read on another thread that the addition of Dory and a whale(?) cut way down on the interactive time with Crush. People who had seen this attraction before and after the change didn't care much for the "new" version. Anybody been there recently who can speak to this?

We went to Turtle Talk 2 times on our last trip. DD loved it and was lucky enough to get to talk with Crush. The first show did not include Dory but the second time we saw it Dory was in it. It was cute. The one without Dory had alot more interaction with Crush but we enjoyed both shows.

I saw the show in Feb and again a couple of weeks ago after they added Dory. I liked the original much better. Crush did have much more interaction with the kids in the original show. It also seemed a little bit longer. To the best of my memory(which is highly suspect), Dory does NOT interact with the audience. Now, Crush just does a short interaction and then Dory and the whale show up and its all over.

Dude, the show Rocks! We waited for 20 minutes to get in. My hubby and daughter got cranky. But I told them that the DisBoarders swear it's a good show. To Which, my hubby sarcastically replied, "If the Boarders say it, it MUST be true." Once the show got started, my hubby was as enthralled as any child.
The one part where Crush shows a bikini top was a riot. He asked this little boy(about 8 or so) what it was. The little boy replied it's for girls. You should have seen his nervous mom keeping her hands ready to cover the boy's mouth should he get a bit more specific in the body part that bikini tops cover. He didn't say anything bad. You got the feeling he might, :goodvibes

Dudes, you gotta check out the show.. :earsgirl:

The part with Dorey and the whale is really funny. The kids tell Crush where Dorey is and the part with the whale brings a lot of laughs and all the kids get to yell to tell him to move away. I think it is a great add because not all of the kids get called on by Crush so it's nice for all the kids to be able to participate. My DS had his hand up waiting to get into the show and all throughout the show but Crush didn't call on him. I felt so badly for him! He really wanted to give him some fin.

The show is continuous - every 15 or 20 minutes or so - not sure the exact hours. It is at The Living Seas in Epcot. There is a lot to look at there and the room holds a lot of people. You don't really need to be in front of the line to get a good seat because they sit all of the kids in the front anyway. When the line fills up, hop in and you'll be fine - shouldn't have to wait too long.

We saw it twice 2 weeks ago. I knew what it was about before I went in and its a lot of fun to see adults come to a realization that it really is interactive and not just a movie.

Each show was different. One had the bikini, and another one didn't. There must be some animation choices the puppeteer can bring to the show. Both had Dory, but she is all pre-animated with no interaction.

The cast members who operate Crush are pretty witty!

My daughter and I totally enjoyed this show. Our show had Dory and the Whale in it and the kids all had a blast trying to tell Crush where she was, we did not have a bikini in our show, but we did have an adult who kept trying to do all the talking. The show was also very informative. We learned sea turtles can not pull their heads into their shells and other fun facts.
This is a total must see dudes!

This show is a must see for everyone of any age.
I laughted and laughted during the show and have that silly grin on my face now as I remember it.
IMHO, this short show is a better event than the current Figment show.
I am looking forward to seeing it again in Oct.

No kids in our group, just 3 adults and we LOVED this new show! So cool!!! Fun for all ages - and def worth the 20 min wait or so for a show =)
