Turning 40 has been wonderful.......so far...DH is AWESOME!!UPDATE: pg.2

I just want to let everyone know how wonderful DH has been with surprises for me since I turned 40!!!

I was in Dallas with DD when the Big One hit. When I finally got home (delayed for snowstorm), I had a cake and presents!!! I recieved wonderful handmade vases and candle sticks from my younger DD's, GORGEOUS diamond earrings from DH and a gift certificate for house cleaning!! The house cleaners are here now!!!

And to top it all offf.............he just informed me to be ready at 4:30 because a limo is picking us up, then picking up good friends of ours and we are off to the Oak Room in Boston for dinner!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am definetly a PRINCESS......or should I say........QUEEN!!

I just walked upstairs and they just changed all the sheets on the bed!!!!! Already organized DD #1's bedroom.......a pre-teens disaster in my opinion (that's why she is on the 3rd floor by herself!!!) They are Cleaning the toilets now...........I am soooooooo excited!!!

My DH took me to the Contemporary for a 4 day weekend when I turned 40. I got to wear a Birthday button! He couldn't believe that is what I wanted to do. I've already told him ditto for 50th! It's nice your DH is making your milestone so special. Turning 40 is not that bad, I don't mind it all.

Ooohhh........I'm so envious Rosemary, I turned 40 this month too. DH bought me...........Nothing! We went for a curry at night, he upset me on the way home, and I slept on the sofa Give your DH a kiss from me, he's a sweetie

We just got home. DH is taking the babysitter home now (too much to drink for me to do it!!).

What a WONDERFUL and MAGICAL night!!!

The restaurant was beautiful and the service was SUPBERB!!!

I got a spinach and argula (sp) salad with hot bacon dressing, then filet mignon with a lobster tail and creamed spinach. For dessert creme brulee!!! DH got a rib steak with creamed spinach. we also had shrimp cocktail and portabella mushrooms stuffed with crabmeat. My friend had the haddock dish and her DH had the same as me!!! Talk about fabulous!! We relaxed and were not rushed. We then sat for after dinner drinks at the Oak Room Bar and listen to beautiful music when another good friend of mine showed up with her DH!!!

Later we went dancing and then to another club and listened to Acapella music!!! We had lots of laughs.

This was and will be a most memorable day in my life!!!

and my diamond earrings were shining bright!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a great DH! I turn 40 July 13 but we'll just be back from WDW a week...at this point I am planning to take the family to a Mud Hens game! Seems like a lot of us are turning 40 this year!

I am still in awe over last night and how DH pulled off all the surprises for my 40th...............BUT........after all the drinking and late night I NOW FEEL it!!!

Boy am I slllllllllllllooooooooooooooowwwwwwwww today!!

Had to get up early to take DD#1 to cheerleading practice (only had 3 hours sleep!!).........then shopping for food because we had to celebrate DD#2's 7th birthday with the family today.........NOW.........I am making cupcakes for her school tomorrow.............

I just want to go to BED!!!

My body can't take the partying anymore!!! But...what fun I had!!
