Turning 3 yrs old check-in question

Can we check-in to our resort on the day my daughter turns 3 and still be a guest of Mickey? Or do we need to check in the day before she turns 3 in order for her to be "free"? TIA

Nope. Once she hits 3 she will cost you more. You need to check in the day before.

Gottcha... so we definitely need to check in day before. Most things I read said that "kids don't age at Disney". So technically she would be 3 at check in on her bday

Right. Which is why you need to check in when she is still 2.

checking in the day she turns 3 she is 3 so you need to check in before she turns 3

We have a third birthday trip coming up, and we are checking in the day before my son turns three.

With that said it is against board policy to suggest Disney's posted rules. The rules are you are the age you are on the day of check in for the entire stay so to be with in Disney's rules you need check in the day before your age changes. So the only answer we can give here is if you want a "free" 3rd birthday trip you have to check in before the child's birthday.
