Turning 13 in Disney any ideas!!

We are going to be in Disney for DD 13th she is sooo excited.
She loves animals so we are stayin at AKL. I am trying to get ahold of someone who is a Zoologist in AK (Pref. of big cats) since that is what she wants to go to college for. What else would you do special?? Looking for fresh ideas.

Okay my mom and my best friends mom took me and my friend Steph for our 13th birthdays and it was the most magical trip I have ever went on.
Make sure you get those birthday pins everyday you are in disney. We also got these cake hats in downtown disney that said happy birthday and thats how people noticed us. Oh! And tell the people at the hotel and restraunt its her birthday because at our hotel we got signed cards and balloons from mickey and minnie. And at the restraunts you get a cupcake and a card with that all the characters there signed if its a character meal.

I went with my best friend for our 13th birthdays and it was so fun


Meals/At the hotels!
When you make any dining reservations tell
them its her birthday, especially at character
meals. We did Chef Mickey's on my birthday
and Crystal Palace on my friend's. At Chef
Mickeys when they have the "party" Mickey
came over to our table and danced with us..we
loved it! And at each resturant we got a cupcake.
Tell your hotel its her birthday too. We each
got a card signed by either Mickey or Minnie
and they tied balloons on our bed. You could
also get a nice basket filled with Disney stuff
(like the snacks they make and some small
stuffed animals) and have it delivered right
to the room. I am pretty sure you can order
it right from WDW.

At the parks!
Everyday throughout your whole stay get a
birthday pin at guest services at each park.
While your dd is wearing the pin a lot could
happen. People notice it so random people
say Happy Birthday and we once got six free
fastpasses for RnR. Also in MGM make sure
you walk up to the times board and make sure
the CM sees the pin. If you do this the CM will
tell your daughter that she has a very important
phone call. He/she will hand her the phone
and one of the characters will wish her a happy
birthday. Another thing she could do is get
a hat. We got these hats that had Mickey on
the front and they were shaped like a big
cake. We really stood out in a crowd! Another
thing is that on her actualy birthday you could
get a plain Mickey ears hat and have it
embroidered to say "Birthday Girl!" or "Today is
my birthday!" and then write the date. Most of
all have fun!!
