Turned from parking at HS

we are ataying at Caribbean beach- and went to HS for dinner ressies. We were told to go park at Epcot to get to HS. Never had that happen before. Is that because of the movie ride closing? I'm nervous about Fantasmic tonight. I'm assuming it will be packed.

Are they working on a large section of DHS parking?

Otherwise, it could very well be the final crowds for the GMR.

Try to grab a FP for Fantasmic! and arrive at least an hour before show-time.

Parking at DHS is under construction. But yes, a lot of people are at DHS because of GMR closing

Disney announced earlier this week that "In anticipation of a busy weekend at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there will be some updates to Cast Member parking." Cast arriving Friday and Saturday mornings will park elsewhere. They've also adjusted operating hours of some attractions and dining locations this weekend.

It's a combination of some reduced parking and larger crowds. The DHS parking lot reached capacity at 2:00pm and guests were redirected to Epcot where they will park for free.
