Turndown Service Tipping

I am staying at the Beach Club and had planned to request turndown service for each day we are there.

How do you tip for this? Do you leave the tip envelope in the morning with the regular mousekeeping tip or do you leave a separate envelope later in the day?

We always leave it later in the day so that the actual Turn Down CM is getting it, not the housekeeper that is cleaning the room (we leave that one in the morning)....

We had turndown service at GF (but I didn't ask anyone to do this), and I never left a tip! Now I feel bad that I didn't know you should leave a tip!

I have heard that the standard tip for Turndown Service is $2 per night. Is that true?

We leave $2-5 depending on if we need new towels, have a bunch of garbage that needs to be taken away, etc. We leave it when we come back to the room before dinner.
