I am eligible for discounted tickets through shades of green. I have to proceed via mail as I am too far away to go in person.
With the processing, mail time etc, anyone know the turnaround time to get the tickets in my hands?. With the need to get park reservations I want to make sure I have enough time.

Thanks

You don't have to purchase via Shades of Green if you don't want to. Almost every MWR/ITT office has them. You can even order over the phone from many MWR and some will email you a photo of your ticket to link and then overnight the hard copies.
But to answer your question, if you submit the form online to Shades of Green they have been taking anywhere from 2 days to 3 weeks. Make sure you answer the phone when they call.
There is an amazing Shades of Green Fan page on FB

My friend is going through SoG to order our tickets so that we have ACTIVATED tickets for our trip. She is the military member (well, her DH and son are...she is retired NG) and her family is travelling with me and my daughter. We are travelling "together", but we are staying at different resorts and we may or may not be arriving on the same flights. We do not want to have to try and coordinate a meeting at Guest Services on our first day to activate the passes so she sent in the order form through SoG and she is waiting for a callback. Any idea how long the process will take until we have tickets in hand?? Our trip isn't until October, but we want to make our park reservations sooner vs later.

My FIL just went through this process for an upcoming trip. His original response email from SOG stated it could take up to 14 days for a call back. On the 15th day when he was going to call them for an update, he received an email stating it could take up to 30 days because they were busy. So he didn't call. Two days later, he received their call. They verified everything with him. They mailed out the tickets, via FedEx requiring a signature, and they were received within 4 days.

From the time he sent the initial request email until the time he received the tickets was 21 days. Very easy.

Only the card holder has to be present to activate the tickets, not the entire party, if you do not want to wait on Shades of Green.
Last update from Shades of Green was that their processing time is taking 3-4 weeks

Patrick AFB ITT sells the discounted tickets by phone. They are fully activated and the confirmation comes immediately from Disney for MDE linking. The ITT office still FedExes the plastic tickets. There is a form you email to the office and then they call you for payment, etc. We have used them this year and last. No waiting, same day service.

Hello All, so I got my tickets today from Shades of Green and linked them to my MDE, and then noticed they were showing up at childrens tickets. I double checked the prices and my receipt to make sure i ordered the correct ones, and then called SOG. They told me there is a glitch in the system and the tickets are correct but showing up in MDE as the opposite of what they are. I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if so did they have any issues upon park entry? Thanks for your help!

Maybe email SOG with your concerns, just so you have an email response in writing from them. Bring your receipt with you, along with their explanation email. Hopefully everything works out and it was just a glitch. Our tickets showed up correctly and we don't go until Sept. so unfortunately I can't help you there. Good luck!

Thanks for your suggestion WDW Traveler! I packed my receipt so I won’t forget it and I will email them. I also chatted with a cast member on the MDE chat and she assured me they are showing as adult tickets on their end. I copied that convo. So between that and an email response from SOG I feel a little better. Thanks again!!
