Turn the Bus Around and Take Us Back to Disney! *COMPLETED*

It may have been a long trek back over to Frontierland, but it was well worth it when we saw that Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was OPEN!! Woot! We slipped on Olivia’s magic shoes, teehee, and off we went!

[Sidenote: When I changed Liv's shoes her feet were so blistered from being in her Cinderella heels all day! I asked her so many time that day if her feet hurt and she always said no, she wanted to keep the heels on, well, the stinker lied. I highly recommend getting FLAT shoes at least. She was such a trooper though, she never once complained even after that day!]

The first time she sat between the hubs and I, and she absolutely loved it! My girl is a total thrill seeker, and she was elated to ride a big kid ride! Especially a roller coaster!

Immediately after we switched off watching Maddie and Liv got to go ride again with Daddy. Again, all smiled from Liv and the crew. BTMR is a crowd pleaser for sure! Even in the rain!

We wondered back up through Liberty Square to do a little shopping. I ended up buying a Christmas ornament, a very adorable Dumbo that was personalized with the year, and as we left the shop we noticed a certain Southern Princess was out! Tiana!!!

We went straight over to the CM only to find out they had JUST closed the line!! :( Of course, I was sad, and Liv was clearly disappointed, but then the very gracious CM asked us to wait. She said she’d go ask the Princess herself if she might have time for one more visitor, seeing as it was another Royal Princess wanting to see her. (See, the makeover wins again!!!) Being the kind, generous Princess that she is, she of course happily obliged and we were in! DOUBLE SCORE! Not only was Tiana there, but her handsome (an so AMAZINGLY in character) Prince Naveen was there too!

These guys were seriously like the best interaction, ever! Olivia was the last child but they spent SO much time with her. They went on and on and on about her makeover and they had very deep discussions regarding which rides she had ridden and of course, they had to talk about Pixie dust!

Here’s where I should mention Olivia’s dress was covered in INSANE amounts of glitter! Seriously, the inside of the stroller seat looked as if a showgirl had been sitting there from all the glitter. Every member of our family and anyone who came in contact with Liv was COVERED in it head to toe. :lmao:

Upon hugging Liv, Tiana and Naveen both had tons of glitter on them so they chatted about it for quite some time. This is the one interaction where Olivia seemed so comfortable. She just chatted and chatted, even asking Naveen about being a frog at one time! I love it. They also made for some great photos!

After Tiana, we decided to try our luck and see if we could catch Merida, but phooey, she wasn’t out. So instead we decided it was high time we went and met the big man himself, MICKEY!!!!!

Lines for Mickey were probably the longest we stood in all day, about 15 minutes, maybe. But well worth it because, hey, it THE Mouse after all!

Alright, I have to take a breather, I almost get too emotional thinking about this moment. I simply don’t have words for just how EXCITED Olivia was the MOMENT she spotted Mickey. I’ll just let the look on her face do the talking…

There are no words. And bless the photog who turned and snapped a pic at Olivia’s reaction literally the moment we stepped into the same room as Mickey. Smart lady! :thumbsup2

Not only was Olivia floored, but Maddie, my sweet, sweet Maddie. She went NUTS!! On our video you just hear her over and over and over and over again shouting “Mi-Mouuuuuu, Mi-Mouuuuu, Mi-Mouuuuu!” Like over and over! It is so stinkin’ cute. She couldn’t contain herself, she knew she was in the presence of greatness! She was so happy when she got to go touch him and was supremely fascinated by his hands!

So yeah, a very touching moment for me to see, and one I will never forget!

Once our meeting with the Man was done, we decided to hop on a train and take a breather. We had to stay in the park, because we had dinner reservations at the castle at 8pm, but we needed to SIT! It was still kinda drizzly, so the train was close and met the needs!

It was a nice little ride. I enjoyed getting to see all around the park and it definitely let us off our feet for a few, which was nice. By the time we pulled back up to Main Street, the sun had set and I couldn’t help but be in awe at the beautiful sight before me!

Not much else can top that. It’d been a long, long, full day, but we still had a very important date, so we all perked up at our fast approaching reservation and slowly made our way towards the castle!

Up Next, The One with the Photo Shoot!

When we left off we were coming up on a most wonderful sight…Main Street all lit up and leading to the stunning Castle!

It was still only about 7:30, so we decided to try our luck at seeing if we could go on in for 8pm reservation at the Castle, but it was a no go. Apparently they are a stickler for their times there, understandable. While waiting, I grabbed Olivia and told the group we’d be back, we wanted to check out the Castle Couture store again.

Once we entered and started to look around we happened upon an awesome thing, a photo shoot area for the girls who had makeovers!! I knew I had read something about it before, but I didn’t know where it was and no one had mentioned it in the morning at the makeover so it had slipped my mind. There was one little girl getting pics done, and no line, so I quickly hopped over and asked if they accepted PP+ and they did!

Snapped these while waiting..

Unfortunately the little girl ahead of, though clearly older than Liv, was a tad uncooperative, and uncoordinated so it was taking forever it felt to get her photos. We were fast approaching 8pm. FINALLY, about 8 minutes till 8 they were done and it was Livs turn! It took literally like 3 minutes and we were DONE! My girls is awesome! She is so practiced when it come to pictures and posing. She knew how to do just what the photog asked and it was done in no time! The photographer was highly impressed! And lookie how adorable!! :cool1:

UP next, The One From INSIDE the Castle!

P.S. I know this was a short post but it was photo heavy so it had to be alone! ;)

We booked it back over to the castle with like a couple minutes to spare and then they were ready for us. First, we got to meet Cindy herself! She wasn’t the best, but she was cute enough. The pics of both girls with her were my fave!

And then the whole group!

Finally we headed upstairs to be seated!

Beautiful!

Dinner here was HECTIC! :scared1: It was full to the max and the waiters were basically running all around, thankfully they are amazing at what they do, so they don’t make mistakes much, but we didn’t see ours much except when ordering or bringing out courses.

The food was pretty good, kinda fancy-ish, but still yummy.

Now, I am not gonna lie. Being in the castle for dinner is amazing, the room it beautiful, good food, but it was HIGHLY stressful for me. It was loud and crazy, the waiters were, like I mentioned, running around. Maddie was tired and being fussy. Olivia wouldn’t eat because she was too busy looking at the Princesses…and so on. I don’t know what I expected. I guess I thought it would be more calm and proper for the amount you pay, but I was wrong. I wouldn’t change it for anything, because it was great to do, once. Haha, I am pretty sure we will do the Princess meal at Epcot here on out, or at least until Maddie is older and asks to eat there again, but I won’t be booking that place often.

It wasn’t that fantastic for the money or the 2 credits per person it cost us. Also I was displeased with the whole wish ceremony that takes place…the lights go out and the kids have to make a wish on a star they are given…but the audio was so low and the crowd so loud we could barely hear it. Same with the Princesses announcements, they were hard to hear.

Other gripes I had were that the Jasmine we got was kind rude! And then Belle wasn’t there! I was so sad. We ended up not seeing Belle the entire trip, and I swore she was supposed to be at this dinner, but either she was gone just this night or something’s changed, or maybe I had it wrong. So a lotta little things added up to make this just an okay experience for me, but it was still awesome to experience once, especially your first visit!

Some great pros to it were though that the picture package and the tip are INCLUDED in the price, and if you have little ones to young for the dining plan or under 3, they can get a half size portion of any kids meal for FREE! Yay! Also, the desserts were awesome, mine had a candle and they sang Happy Birthday! But the most cool thing was that if you book late in the evening like we did, you get to see Wishes from INSIDE the castle. At first I was bummed when I realized we’d be inside for the fireworks, I wanted to see them so bad, but once the first one went off I soon realized we had a perfect and very, very special view! :cloud9:

Alright, so it was now about 10pm and we’d just finished dinner at the Castle. We started to make our way back out of the park, when we realized that something else was about to happen, turns out Celebrate A Dream was about to be projected onto the Castle! The kids, having JUST been sat in the stroller were already OUT, so we adults decided to stop and watch, and WOW! How breathtaking! The way they project things onto the castle is so stunning! I couldn’t stop taking photos! popcorn::

I took a photo basically anytime the castle changed, but I will spare you from ALL of them! ;)

But still, what a beautiful way to end our night. The fam was so tired now, and the kids were fast asleep so we decided to forgo staying back for the Electrical Parade and instead made our way outta the park. I regret not seeing it now, because we never did end up getting the chance after that. Bummer.

Another bummer…riding the bus at closing from Magic Kigdom. Blahhhhh! The lines were LONG! But actually, AoA has TONS of buses that come up very regularly so the line was moving pretty swiftly until the one bus operator who clearly had no clue what they were doing pulled up. We had to stand for probably 15 minutes while this person tried to figure out how to operate the ramp for a wheelchair! Seriously, the ramp would go down, then up, then down, then up, then down almooooooossssttt touching the groung, get stuck, then back up! So frustrating. After forever, another AoA bus pulled up behind this one and was just waiting! Finally, a line CM came over and helped them and the eventually figured it out and loaded that poor person, who was probably embarrassed at holding everyone up, and soon we were on our way home, yay!

When we got back, the kids were too tired to wake, so we just stripped them down and decided to skip the bath. Hence, glitter was still everywhere, including the bed now! Oh well! We were tired. It was midnight by the time I got settled and down to bed!

Day 5 Recap!

What a FULL day! Open to close, non-stop! We did get a little lackluster towards the evening, but I blame a lot of that on the rain! Leaving the park was a bit chaotic, but expected so no biggie. But overall, Olivia being a Princess for the day was the best thing ever. I wouldn’t change it for the world!

Overall day Rating: 9/10

Awesome day, but the rain was a bummer and we did get pretty tired doing open to close.

Dining Ratings:

Columbia Harbor House: 10/10
Great service, good food, awesome for a QS!

Cinderella’s Royal Table: 7/10
Didn’t meet my expectations, but I still feel something you should do once, I mean c’mon, we were eating INSIDE Cinderella’s Castle!

i have no idea where to start!!!

What a JAM PACKED day you had! i was tired for you!
I see the poor tootsies being all fogged up. She REALLY enjoyed being a princess! best money spent!!! :yay: Im so happy for you. I bring mole skin so blisters are GONE!
again the food looks really good. what is the salad looking thing?? i would order that!
Not gonna lie Her face seeing the main mouse did..... ahem..... bring a tear. it's such a fabulous age to take them. just to see the wonder and magic in their eyes. your girls are ADORABLE. and i am so glad you were able to take this vacation!!! adn write about it.

There is no such thing as TOO MANY PICTURES!!!
you took GREAT PICTURES!

I totally agree with you on CRT! When we went in 2010, I thought CRT was amazing! Totally royal feeling and worth 2 credits. This summer when we were there I was completely disappointed! It was hectic and Cinderella herself was pretty rude! I agree with you, do it once because it's the castle. But it won't be an every trip kinda thing.

The BBB pics are so precious! You can tell Olivia has lots of practice with her princess poses.

I really want to try CHH, it looks so yummy!

Overall, it looks like you all had a great day!

I stayed up so late reading your updates I had to wait til this morning to comment! Besides that--between Olivia's photoshoot and meeting Mickey and her too stinkin' precious princess hands, I may have been on cuteness overload! She is obviously supposed to be a princess!

I love your tiana and naveen pics. Our Madison is so excited to meet them. I've always heard that naveen is great. Maddie flip flops on wanting to meet him or not, so we'll see what she does, I guess. I just always hear how great they are and can't wait!

I LOVE the firework pics through the castle windows! We did lunch there the one time we went (we had a good experience and I liked being called milady while I ate :) but it's not a do it every time thing for us either) but it looks like a late dinner would be fun too!

Thanks for the awesome update!

I really did mean to bring moleskin and it just slipped my mind I guess...youll see in the next days photos our bandaid fix though!

The salad thing with the strawberries?? If so that was mine! It was just a salad with feta and strawberries and a vinegarette, soooo yummy!

Thanks for all the compliments! :thumbsup2

Darn, I really wish it would have met my expectations (CRT) because it had so much potential! But maybe its best it didn't, now I dont feel the pull to do it over and over again. It was still very nice though, I don't mean to judge it too harshly!

CHH was great, I dont see how anyone could be disappointed with it if they have the service we did!

First off, MY, you are sooooo close to your trip!!! EEEEEEEP! :cheer2:

I am so jealous! We probably wont start REEEEEAAAALLLLY planning ours out until I actually book it, and I am most likely going to wait until the fall free dining is posted....I dunno, I waiver on this. I mean I can always book and move the dates around and such if needed...but that seems a hassle...

Naveen was amaze-balls. He had the voice and mannerisms down soooo so so well, it was a sight to behold. I loved him! Im sure your girls will too!!

Seems like everyone shares my views on CRT, I had read the same thing before I went too, I wouldnt have changed it, it was just like an okay moment for me, when I had come to expect to be so fantastically wowed, ya know??

:thumbsup2

I know I am a bit early - but I wanted to stop by to wish you and your adorable family...

also, we are going to be there the first week of October. Maybe we will overlap and meet up..........:confused3

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE EVERYTHING!!!!!!

We woke up ready and rearing to go at 7am this morning! I was beyond thrilled because today we were seeing EPCOT!!!! You have no idea guys! I just LOVE learning and immersing myself in different cultures so this is basically like a trip around the world for me! I spent MONTHS getting ready for this moment with my family. I know that Epcot can be one of the love it or hate it type of parks, and I see lots of complaints on message boards regarding children getting bored, and there not being enough rides, etc.

Well I KNEW this wouldnt be a problem for us! We love going and going things like museums and such and my kids are totally used to that. They dont need constant rides and crazy shows to keep them entertained, they just need to be immersed! My solution&teaching them what to expect BEFORE your trip! I made worksheets for each country before we traveled (you can find them on my PTR!) and I took the time to study with Olivia each country! We learned common animals, how to say hello, what languages they spoke, where they were located, etc . all while at home. I then had an adorable Passport book printed (also on my PTR) for her and the sis-in-law and I will tell ya what&it all worked out great as you will soon see!

Anyway, onto the start of the day! We hit the bus line about 7:45 as usual, and, as usual again, no line at all because EMH were at another park&so we were off and arrived around 8ish! We waited out front for about half an hour, and I was please to find a small coffee/pastry walk up place outside the turnstiles, so I happily indulged in some goodies while we waited.

Laci was pumped for today because she was surprised with a Passport from us! :cool1:

Once the park opened, we didnt really have an idea of where we wanted to start. For once during our trip, we were playing it by ear! I did take note that I didnt find any PP Photogs in front of Spaceship Earth (boo) so I figured wed get a photo later& big mistake&shoulda done that first, oh well..youll see! I did snap a photo without us in it though!

Anyway, so we walked right up under SE, but it was closed for refurb, which we knew already that it would be, so instead we walked over towards the Seas Pavilion! NO ONE was there, not a single person! Score. We took a couple photos out front&

Then headed in to ride NEMO!! What an adorable ride! I loved how the images are projected into the real tanks! Brilliant! So inventive! The kiddos enjoyed it a lot and then they had so much fun playing in the play area afterwards!

Even the grandparents enjoyed the play area!

We didnt play to long before deciding to check out the tanks&

And look, I FINALLY found a hidden Mickey, albeit a very big, obvious one, but still& :thumbsup2

After our explorations we headed outside only to come upon this fella&

He was nuts! We walked right up to him and I swear I could have pet him if Id wanted. Then, when we went to our stroller another squirrel was in it! So yah, apparently this is a thing, the CMs informed me, the squirrels there are very used to people, and they like to feast on crumbs and snacks left behind in strollers! Sure enough, throughout the day there would be TONS of squirrels crawling on the strollers in the parking areas! Too funny, thought Id share since I never saw that on a TR before! Guard your food at Epcot people!!

Moving on, we hit up the Land Pavilion next! We rode the Living with the Land ride, which was very informative and cool! I loved it! Then we rode Soarin! I was very happy that again, Livs magic shoes worked, and she was admitted, she rode it once with everyone else while I staid back with Maddie, and then again when I got my turn. The M-I-L also enjoyed this one a lot! I didnt like it. I ended up with a horrible case of motion sickness and could not get off it soon enough, boo for that. My decision not to ride Mission Space, clearly, was a good call if I couldnt handle Soarin!!!

I didnt really take a lot of photo in there, but I found it to be pretty cool.

We headed off to check out Captain EO next! I like MJ, so I was so down for this! I loved that it was all 80s and stuff, I dont know if I would watch this show every time I went, but I would definitely do it at least once. Or if you need a cool rest spot!

We noticed the Figment ride was in that same area so we went right on over next. This one was cute, Olivia liked it a lot. Maddie used it as a nap time& :figment:

What I think Olivia enjoyed more were all the experiment/play areas right outside the ride&

There were also the fun fountains out front that we, unfortunately, didnt get to spend much time admiring.

It was around this time that Chris made it known that he wasnt feeling good at all. I knew that hed been feeling sick, like a sinus issue, but apparently it had gotten so bad that he wanted meds. We headed over to Mouse Gears to stroll through the shopping mecca there and bought him some Benadryl&the bad thing about Benadryl, it makes you sleepy, you will soon see what this led too&

Up next, the One with the Grumpies :sad2:

Alrighty, when we last left off Chris had just taken some much needed meds. We’d already visited both the Seas and Land pavilion, and now it was finally 11am! That meant that the World Showcase was open! Eeeee!

We live in Texas, so at times it can feel like Mexico, especially downtown San Antonio, or at times such as Fiesta, so I wasn’t really feeling starting there so we went off in the direction of our neighbors to the North, Canada!

I had a few goals in the WS you should know about. #1, I saw on another person’s TR the AWESOME idea of taking photos with a hat from each Country, so YES, we did that!! #2, We had to get our passports stamped and our Duffy stamped! #3, I tried to find a pressed penny from each Country, but that proved to be difficult, so I did as many as I could!

Okay! So off to Canada!!

And our first stop, so we had to pick up our Duffy!

And our very first hat picture!!! Oh, did I mention my plan was to get a pic of my HUBBY in each hat!

The moose!!

Canada was so fun! And I would really LOVE to try Le Cellier one day, maybe on a trip when we have grandparents to help again, so the Hubs and I can go sans kiddos! I have heard amazing things about the cheese soup…

Moving on to THE UK!

Bahaha, and the funniest little hat! I LOVE this pavilion. It was so quaint and cool! Because it was so early there were no characters out meeting yet, and no shows though, so all we really did was browse the shops. Tons of cool stuff in there!

And these!!

Now it was right about now…approaching noon that everyone’s tummy’s began rumbling, it also happened to coincide with Chris’ meds kicking in, and it made for a bad combo!

In my head I hadn’t wanted to plan a lunch meal this day because I had hoped to just walk around the different Countrie’s sampling foods and drinks and having a merry ole time. Well, turns out everyone just wanted to sit and eat. Thus began the very frustrating task of deciding… not knowing if we would like some of the local flavors for a whole meal we weren’t feeling being too bold in our choice of place to eat. I personally figured Italian would be good, Via Napoli in particular but it was more pricey and we would be paying out of pocket if we went to a table service restaurant, because we already had plans for our dining credits worked out. Then we came across the US pavilion, and everyone liked that idea, except me. I know I am picky, but when else do you have the whole world at your fingertips to eat from??????!!!!??!?!? I def didn’t want to eat at the good ole US of A!

So basically everyone got grumpy, and the hubs got REALLY grumpy. :headache: So finally I just needed to get him alone to relax and we told the grandparents to go do their own lunch choice and we’d do our own thing. They ended up at USA, we went for China, because it was close at the moment.

So…China…hmmm. I adore Chinese food, but I am pretty particular about it. We went for a quick service place, Lotus Blossom Café. It was…AWFUL! Haha, some may like it, but it wasn’t matching the flavors I was used to and I found it very unappetizing. The hubs got the orange chicken plate, which was okay, and I got the sweet and sour chicken plate, which was a little less than ok. Mine wasn’t all that great, it was kind of mushy and just meh, especially compared to all the amazing food we were used to now! Also, the dessert. Wow. So you have 2 choices of dessert on the dining plan here… Lychee or Carmel Ginger Ice Cream. Not really knowing what to expect with either we opted for one of each. So lychee….some sort of sweet fruit, I guess, and not a flavor my palate cared for. And ginger! Oh my, that should not be in ice cream! We all about gagged on it. It was sooooo strong, no no no no no… I do not recommend.

So no photos, as we were coming down from a big grumpy spell, but eventually we calmed and the hubby made the decision that he wouldn’t be able to enjoy this day much, he’d rather go back to AoA, sleep off the meds, and come back for dinner hopefully feeling better than spend the whole day miserable. I agreed!

We walked around for a tad bit more before he left, we walked into the Karmel Kutche and almost passed out from the most amazing smells ever! Then we walked back over to the US to meet up with the rest of the crew. All was good again! We bid farewell to Chris then decided to backtrack to France to continue our quest!!

France is adorable! I love it. I really wish overall we’d had more time to explore each land, but sadly it was like take a quick browse and get goin’ type of thing. And with Chris out, Olivia had to take over on the hat front!

Bob stopped for some ice cream!

And we were off to Morocco!

Wow! What amazing theming! This pavilion was amzeballs! I could probably spend hours here shopping and hanging out, but I did my quick peek so we could be off.

Loved their hats!

And I really LOVE all the tiles! When we studied Morocco at home Olivia and I decorated tiles! So it was so neat to see her recognize the architecture and know we were at Morocco, she also did a great job remembering how to say hi in all the different languages!

Up next, we visit my favorite pavilion! Coming up, the one with the pearls!

there are so many things about this update that I love! your bleach shirts--so cute! they really turned out great! adorable Maddie getting a nap on daddy. the hats! Olivia looks especially cute in the fez! and the hidden mickey in the aquarium! except for DH being sick, it looks like a great day so far!

Super awesome update! I need to stop telling you the that girls are so adorable - but for some reason I can't, LOL and I am sure you don't mind hearing it a bazillion times. ;)

Bummer about no PP photogs in front of SSE... I fear you won't get a photo later in the day either. :/

Love all of the rides you were able to accomplish so early in the morning!

Such a bummer that DH was sick... It was probably a good choice to let him go back to the resort to sleep it off.

Your experience in China was almost exactly like our experience in Japan... Um - no thanks... Will never do CS in those places again... Total waste of a CS credit... I am all about trying new things, especially when I am there on FD, but nope... Yucko!

I sure hope your day gets better... Can't wait to hear about your dinner and where you go. Glad all of the pre-trip planning worked out, and how sweet that Olivia retained SO MUCh of it!

I hope you have a fantastic New YEar!

D~

Don't you just hate those crabby moments! One of our servers told us you know magical meltdowns can happen anywhere. Looks like you all made the best of it though! I love the hat idea. That looks like fun, I might just have to copy that one. I can not wait until my DD is old enough to do a passport around World Showcase. I am always left feeling like I wish I had more time to explore all the countries as well.

i read your report off my phone a while ago.. But i don't reply on that horrendous thing.

your report is amazing! i cannot believe those crazy squirrels :scared1: :squirrel: :scared1:

LOVE she was so OK with the hat pictures!!! So cute!

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a better New Year!

Your family is adorable! I love all your shirts, but the red ones are super cute. What exactly did you do?

Your experience in China was almost exactly like our experience in Japan... Um - no thanks... Will never do CS in those places again... Total waste of a CS credit... I am all about trying new things, especially when I am there on FD, but nope... Yucko!

I sure hope your day gets better... Can't wait to hear about your dinner and where you go. Glad all of the pre-trip planning worked out, and how sweet that Olivia retained SO MUCh of it!

I hope you have a fantastic New YEar!

D~

Thanks! And, of course, I love hearing how adorable the girls are! They love it more! lol! Yea, I will plan the food better on Epcot day next time for sure. Do you have any CS suggestions?

Don't you just hate those crabby moments! One of our servers told us you know magical meltdowns can happen anywhere. Looks like you all made the best of it though! I love the hat idea. That looks like fun, I might just have to copy that one. I can not wait until my DD is old enough to do a passport around World Showcase. I am always left feeling like I wish I had more time to explore all the countries as well.

Yea, and really that was the only meltdown we had in 8 days, so I figure we made out pretty well! It was the one day that I didn't plan as well, I expected to be laid back and go with the flow...now I know...planning is the KEY to happy families, even if it drives them crazy in the month prior to the trip! I am glad we did the passports, but thats what our day seemed to revolve around and that was annoying...next time I want to just explore. I think I will set up some sort of scavenger hunt type of thing for Olivia next time, like give her a camera of her own and tell her she has to take pictures of interesting things in each country....so we will be looking around more. It was a pain to have to find the stations each place....

i read your report off my phone a while ago.. But i don't reply on that horrendous thing.

your report is amazing! i cannot believe those crazy squirrels :scared1: :squirrel: :scared1:

LOVE she was so OK with the hat pictures!!! So cute!

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a better New Year!

Thanks! Happy New Year to you and yours as well!!! :dance3:

Your family is adorable! I love all your shirts, but the red ones are super cute. What exactly did you do?

I know I LOVED these shirts, SUPER easy! The tutorial is over on my PTR, but just to tell you a quick rundown...

You use wax paper as a an iron on...so basically you cut out a mickey head on the wax paper and iron it waxy side down onto a tee...then I used stickers I had for the names and stuck those on the tee...then you fill a squirt bottle up with bleach and mist over the tees (outdoors) and dont mist too much, a little goes a long way, you wait about 5 mins and decide if you want more mist or not and just keep going until you get the look you want...then you peel off the mickey and the stickers and you will see your shapes and names! Then you immediately wash the clothes to deactiviate the bleach, otherwise it will eat holes through your tees! :)
