Turkey Day Gang 2009

My cousin's husband's family lives on Charlene in Schaumburg. Looks like they are just a few blocks from your parents!

Went to the Food and Wine Festival last night and had a wonderful time as always. I REALLY hope and am praying for beautiful weather for our trip!

27 more days!!! That means only 19 days left of school! Woo Hoo! :cool1:

Yes they are right near each other. We were disappointed a bit by the increase in prices and reduction of some of the food places at Food and Wine.

Steffy that makes it seem so ose when you break it down like that.

Four weeks from today Priscilla and I will be sitting at Palo brunch:cool1::cool1: Palo pizza here we come:thumbsup2 I will go easy on the shrimp as I know others would like some to:rotfl2::rotfl2:

OK did we add another room to our FE listing? I have all my rooms on a map - I know we had a new TURKEY -- ? what room ?

Finished getting our FE gifts today.

Enjoyed the beautiful weather and walked around Downtown Disney until it was time for football.

Believe me, most teachers probably have vacation countdowns before the students do!

If I wanted to get really specific I probably only have 17 true days of teaching since I have one field trip, day before Halloween they are usually so hyper it is impossible to get work done, and day before Thanksgiving break a lot of kids don't come or just won't do a lot... heck when I'm going to be thinking about cruising THE NEXT DAY I don't know how much I'll be able to get done! lol

Thinking about packing- I have never taken a cruise outside of the summer months. I think someone may have mentioned this before but what is the weather typically like at night? Should I be wearing pants at night or sweaters?

It was a great time! My DS9 said all the kids were cool and is looking forward to doing all the 'science stuff' with the other kids! I am so glad it worked out. I think it help the kids (and parents) to know more people on the cruise. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in a few short weeks!
The pic is too cute!

Realy enjoyed meeting you and am looking forward to seeing you again on the cruise.:goodvibes

Bryan, I found a Walter in my WJ yearbook,:teacher: could that be your Dad?:cool1: It is a small world after all!

He is with the sophomores. I graduated in 1962, so Laraine would not be in my yearbook, right.:flower3:

I would recommend packing some type of sweater, jacket or sweatshirt. The ship is well air conditioned and sometimes in the evening the outside decks can be a little chilly as well.

The Dismeet will be, unless it changes, on deck 10 shoreside (starboard) about 4pm or so...ie right after the mandatory drill and just prior to the sailaway party...midship overlooking the stage.

Also, there will be a sea of blue shirts in the port lounge while we wait to board so we will me easy to identify, especially me and Larry Long who both stand about 6'8".

I found it a bit chilly at night. I didn't need long pants just capris and a jacket

Chuck is right....I always look for the tall guys, but now that I board concierge I am not sure I can lower myself to hang out with the number borders :) :rotfl:

The pictures will be awhile....I had to work all day yesterday and then my friend who took all the pictures called and left message that her son has the flu and he had the flu shot a few months ago. So now she is trying to figure out how to take care of him and get her and her husband to work.

Plus I am headed to a conference for three days

Laura - what room are you so I can add you to my Fish Extender Map.... :)

Laura please let us know your room number and ages of those non-adults participating so we can update the list and I need to make extra bags.

Good Monday Morning:

Spend a little time on Sunday, getting all the loose ends tied up. We are still undecided about taking the Disney transportation from Animal Kingdom Lodge to port. In the past the Disney transfers have got us to the port too late for us...

May contact Happy Limo again and swing over and get Karen, Steve and Andrew at the Wilderness Lodge... Ok Karen ???

Working on a few door magnets, if I can help, let me know.

Awesome. We are a family of wee little people so we might get lost in the crowd :rotfl2: and we'll be wearing red shirts, IF I can get DexH into one!

Well one more trip on the Wonder after this and we will be joining you in concierge Michelle.
