Seriously, once the Dream and Fantasy come out with what should be better engines and stabilizers, I suspect the Eastern cruise will be much easier...the larger ship size should also help....when we took the Liberty of the Seas this summer, we barely felt any movement at all the entire week.

Now off for the Herald Hunt today....the country's largest scavenger hunt .... hosted by Dave Barry (this is for real...check heraldhunt.com)...

Chun - sorry to hear that you didn't feel well last night and hope that you feel better this morning.

We're at our hotel in DTD and missing all of our new friends. The boys just went to the pool for their last swim until next summer. Then, off to Disney Quest this afternoon.

We're quite unhappy with our hotel -- the Lake Buena Vista Resort by Best Western and will never stay here again. Within 2 minutes of checking in they sent us to the welcome desk where the guy was trying way too hard to sell us tickets to the parks and to set us up for a tour of Bonnet Creek. Told him that if we wanted to buy a time share I would've bought DVC when onboard the ship. He didn't know what DVC was. Meanwhile, Jack has been asking lots of questions about DVC and wants to go talk to them when we're at DTD and learn more about it. Can never figure out my husband. Then, as I went to park the rental car, the valet guy tried really hard to tell me I needed to pay him money to park our car and I told him I could park it myself - he told me I would have to park "way over there." Meanwhile, I saw that the handicapped parking was about 75 feet away if that.

The last thing that got me upset was a party they had by the pool and the music was way too loud so I had to have the volume up on the TV while the boys watched a movie.

Oh well....

I still feel the motion too - I was not expecting to feel it so it is weird.

When we got on the shuttle to pick up the rental car, there was another family on the shuttle from Carnival. The first question they asked??? "Was there really a fire on the ship??"

Ran into Chun in Downtown Disney Saturday, and then we met up with Jon's brother, who lives in Orlando. The traffic was a little crazy throughout Orlando, but I have to say, the airport wasn't nearly as bad as I expected!!

And yes, my whole world is still rocking. When will that stop??

We're still in the car! But, the bonus of driving is that we stopped at the Disney outlet in St. Augustine and the Lodge Outlet in S. Pittsburg TN. Let's just say that I now have a few xmas presents that I don't want to drop on my foot. I got my mom (who loves cast iron cookware) a nice 3 qt dutch oven for less than $25! That will be a nice little thing for her. Also got my BILs pie pocket sandwich makers for camping which they will both love !

Well we've got 5 more hours to go and then laundry (ugh)! More later!

It was great to meet so many of you. I owe everyone the play list for the CD. I realized I forgot to put the stickers on the envelope.

However, it will be awhile. My parents opted not to contact the ship. They almost called a friend that works shoreside, but decided no to. On Monday morning my brother died...they decided not to ruin my vacation or make me worry. They called right when we got in the car.

I will hopefully fly out tomorrow morning...Sunday after thanksgiving has proven a challenge to find plane flights out of Orlando.

When I return I will make sure to post the play list.

I hope all made it home safely!!

I am so sorry about your brother...such a hard thing. I will keep all of you in my prayers. I am not sure where you are trying to fly to (I think I read that you are headed my way) but we are in Chicago if there is ANYTHING you need please email me.

Well we know from Facebook that Michelle appears to be on her way to Chicago..

Karen, the Herald Hunt was great..we had all 5 base puzzles figured out, though on one we missed that there were two possible correct solutions, but we had the "trigger" clue and had most of the endgame figured out too...what we really need is a larger group which we will do next year b/c the end game required getting to the opposite end of the game area - ie about 3 blocks, and when we got there, it was too late....heraldhunt.com or probably the Miami Herald site should have the solution posted tomorrow....

We also learned that since Tom Scroeder works for the Washington Post, they have started a Post Hunt as of the past two years and will be doing a new one sometime in May 2010...since my family is in the area, we may head up there for it...

We decided to take it easy today.... Everything is ready for a return to school and work on Monday....

Lindsey is still very sad.... But knows that hopefully we will see everyone again....

I decided that I would get clean and head to bed early.... I showered and used my Pixie Dust Powder to smell great, then I covered my lips with the Hannah Montana lip gloss that was in the FE... I put the great CD that Michelle gave me into the laptop to look at our Disney Photos....

The pictures were rolling by on the Slide Show... The "Reach for the Stars" song came on then.......... The picture of Lindsey and Andrew walking in front of us at MVMCP with her head on this shoulder.... The picture of Joey and Andrew reviewing the days pins trading succes... Nathan and Mason looking at the dinner menu.... The late night poker tournament in my room... Lindsey and Mason sharing a snack...( YES MASON WAS EATING) Manton Andrew and Lindsey playing on Deck 10... Daniel and Hannah all dressed up..

Is anyone else here EXHAUSTED?

I returned to work Sunday morning at 930, and the store was insanely busy. (Then I was told, "this is nothing, you should have been here Friday and Saturday.") No, thank you.

I'm also trying to get the energy to put up the Christmas decorations. Instead, I want to sleep. Rachel was very tired on the ride to school this morning. Shows what a great cruise it was though. Very well worth it all.

Hi everyone! We're sitting here waiting for our flight in an hour. Depressed that this wonderful vacation is coming to an end and we'll back to reality. We are really missing our new friends and the Magic. I can now see how all of you keep coming back. And, as we talking this morning, we acknowledged that so much of our wonderful experience was because of each and every one of you.

Hiya all

Dang I miss you all so much!

I keep looking at my pictures and smiling we had such a wonderful time - Thank you all so much for the wonderful fish extender presents - I loved them all

Laundry is done - Foodshopping is done ( I got a turkey so I can do a TDAY late ) and I actually went into work today for a few hours - Tonite I am heading to my first AQUA PILATES CLASS - wish me luck - as most of you saw I am extra pooh size - so the docs want me to try this option for working out for a while as my leg is so badly damaged from my fall at least my friend is the instructor and knows my limitations

so did you all rebook? Since Renee is now going to be 18 there is not alot for her to do -- so until she is 21 - we are going to be MAGICLESS and WONDERLESS and DREAMLESS.... WAAAAAAAAAAAA

oh ya and I am still walking sideways!

Wow, back to rainy cold reality here! It was great meeting so many of you. I am soooo tired, exhausted to the bone kind-of-tired! Lucky for me I didn't have to work today but of course am doing laundry and unpacking. Plus, I'm still swaying. Not so fun. I never thought I would still feel the rocking 2 days later! Maybe if I shut my eyes I can pretend I'm still on the ship.

Hi all,

Unfortunately Andrew is ill. My mom called me today and said that he had a 103+ degree temp. He aches all over, has a stuffy head and a small cough. We're heading to the pediatrician tomorrow morning. My hunch is that he has H1N1 -- but I hope I'm really wrong!

We miss all you guys a lot!
