Good morning Turkeys!! One week from today we will all be getting ready to meet at the port in our incredible matching t-shirts!! Thanks Karen!! How exciting!!

We attended a friday night service last night and all went well! We met some extended family that we have never met before. Today is the big day...Bar Mitvah service this morning and then big party this evening!! The entire family is very excited!!

We actually will likely be meeting some 2005 Turkeys for dinner on Friday...Rob, remember the 5J's? They live in Orlando now (or a bit east of there anyway).

For those who live in Florida, water at CC is considered "cold".. for those who live elsewhere, November CC water probably about the same as summer water, especially for those who live up north...

Besides, I play volleyball as much as possible so I don't worry about the water temp..

Chuck, you had me laughing. Actually, gatortail is very good. Now explain to me why is the mascot a duck when the nickname is Hurricanes? It is the same with 'Bama, an elephant is not Crimson Tide!!!

To this lifelong Floridian, if the water temp is below 80...It's COLD!!!!

Well, my DH is officially going stay with the dogs and have Thanksgiving with his mother. My friend will go in his place and she's very excited. She's never been on a cruise before so she doesn't know what she's in for. I'm hoping the Disney nostalgia will affect her like it did me!!

I'm making my list of the important things to not forget (sunscreen, chargers, laundry bag, documents, etc.) I made my few magnets last night.

Kids are getting so excited, seven days and counting. I started putting together my FE gifts yesterday. Will hopefully get them finished by Monday.
I am starting to gather all the kids stuff (X3) so my hubby can start to pack.
We make a great team, I gather, he packs. I also have to fit in two kids practices, hair cuts for all little ones, a wedding shower, a wedding fitting, last minute shopping, magnets, paperwork doublecheck, my nails, homework and about 20 other things. Yikes.

I have moved some stuff around so hopefully we can join in the Bunco game. I must admit, neither my husband or I have ever played. Go easy on us please!

My oldest daughter practice has been cancelled on Saturday morning and her show Friday night as well. We can actually leave for the port early in the morning (hopefully a 11:00 am arrival), vs just leaving Tampa at 11:30 as we had planned! Yippee! I like to be one of the first to board the boat, it makes the cruise feel longer.

When will we get the mini navigators? I cant remember.

Wooo hoooooo!!!!! so excited, so excited. Must make a list like Lynn is doing.

We have a softball game today, then we must get out the excavator or other large tractor type machine to find the bottom of DD's closet/floor/bed/etc to wash all of the clothes strewn about. Seriously, how many outfits can one teen girl TRY ON in one week???? I'm going to have to have a heart to heart because there is no way that her OCD dad will be able to deal with that amount of mess in one little cabin!

Can't wait to meet you Turkeys. Going to make t-shirts today because I already threatened DD and DexH that they would be wearing some t-shirt for embarkation. A girls got to get her pleasure (revenge?) whereever she can, right? I'm thinking, though, I might add "She made me wear this" with an arrow for the back of their shirts, just to make them happy. We'll see

That's exactly what I read, too, as I was going back to skim what I missed last night!!!! I was thinking "How are they going to drive down from NH with 45 pieces of luggage in their car??!!!!"

Andrew is getting his last allergy shot until after the cruise and then is going shopping with his dad for shoes (he's outgrown them again ) and Steve is focused on work he has to get done around the house ! Well. We have had the flu but are recovered but for a little lingering cough. Thanks goodness we weathered that storm!

Hi Charlie-

The mascot is an Ibis, not a duck. An Ibis is the last bird to hide before a hurricane and is the first bird to come out from hiding after a hurricane!! As a result, an Ibis is the perfect mascot for the Canes!!

Hi everyone-

So far it has been a perfect day!! Our nephew did amazing on his Bar Mitzvah!! Tonight is the big party to celebrate. It feels good to wear clothes that are not sweats!!

Only one small problem, we are home during the break b/w the service and the party...and our a/c upstairs is not working!! Luckily, the service provider can come Monday to repair it---my last day at home before going back to work. My plan for Monday is to do the laundry and pack. Chuck is shocked b/c I usually pack the night before leaving. This year I have no excuse!!
