Isn't that what the nice young, strapping lifeguards on the ship are there for? To make sure you have a "magical day" sitting by the pool?

Very true!! Actually on our last cruise, I met a very nice lifeguard the first afternoon. He actually was a life guard on CC. He was on the ship because every so often the crew needs to go through immigration. He was young and good looking!! Later on, I was with Chuck when we met the same crew member on deck 3...Chuck wanted to know how I knew this young and attractive young man??

Larry, I'm glad to see you on the Boards. Now tonight, I can embarrass Steve by letting him know that now you're posting too! I think he is planning to meet up Sunday evening at Diversions too. Work has been tough lately and he's said something about enjoying a few beverages on this cruise.

Night everyone. This week will be a whirl of activity. I'm going to finish all my grants by Wednesday evening. Thursday we have Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson making an appearance at our library and we won't miss the new book! Friday we have plans with friends. Saturday is devoted to finishing the FE's, running things to the cleaners and starting the packing process.

I can't believe that we leave in a little more than a week! EEEK!!!!!

Also I swear someone added to the FE in the last two weeks, but I compared the list i printed to the one there and I am not seeing anything did I miss something?

Good Monday Morning:

We are working through a little panic this morning. DDs teacher sent home two very large assignments Friday that are due on November 23 & 24. A science project and a oral report. We are praying she will let us turn them in next week since we are leaving. The assignment said that the oral project must be presented on the assigned day unless illness or emergency. We are hoping to work with her. So I sent a note in the back pack this morning, so am hoping she will call me to discuss....

Just another thing to deal with before we leave....

I'm so sorry. Personally I think it's rotten for a teacher to assign a huge project that is due the week of a holiday when so many kids travel with their families.

We are hopeful. Many of DDs classmate do not attend that week to Deer Hunt. It is very big in this area. I hope that she will keep an open mind and allow us to turn projects in early.
