Your local warehouse (Costco or Sam's Club) has deluxe + state for $39.99. Otherwise, $49.99 is the cheapest you can get at Target or other discounters.
I do it online and am going thru the Southwest Airlines rapid rewards shopping portal for bonus points.
Another option is I have seen brad's deals offer it 20% off a couple times recently.
Costco, sams, sometimes Amazon.
I purchased from Amazon when they were offerings a Quicken 2016 bundle deal. It cost me $35 for Turbo Tax deluxe. Not sure if they offer is still available. I would check slickdeals.net
I also use the online version. I paid $27.99 for deluxe (includes efile) and that price is 20% off. I went through Swagbucks for 14SB per $1. Ebates is doing the same $27.99 and 7.5% cash back.

I was interested in the premier version, and Amazon had it for around $55 and recently bjs started offering $15 off and so is now around that same price. That was the lowest I had seen for that version while I was looking.
I always do it online but I think Ebates and Swagbucks are both offering like 10% cash back. And if you have a Southwest card (Chase Visa I think), they are offering 1000 bonus points if you file using TurboTax. Pretty good if you ask me, that's what I plan to do!
